I bought with my own Money a brand new Dell Rugged Tablet and I love that beast. Currently we have ~20cm Snow and more and I can going outside and Film, Make Pictures with my Phone and upload them via the Tablet into my Cloud. Nothing say better "snob" than waiting for an Train in an Remote part of the Country and play some good old Games in the Snow and see other people stare at me why my "Laptop" is not death yet. The Weatherforcast say -11 during the night in the next days.

I travel from Time to time by Train and sleep a night in a Hotel and my Speaker on my Laptop, Tablet is a bit quite. Especially when I onboard a Train. Well I know how it sucks when an Accu is glued into a device and is not replaceable without destroy the device. Even when the use some proprietary Accu the stop selling after a while. Are there some some BT (Stereo) Speaker who use AA Accu or even the fatter Lithium one?

"Plan B" is buy a cheap USB Soundbar who will hopefully work years...

Well when you use an Pc, Laptop as source you can add or remove an delay in VLC so everything sound in sinc.

I dont know what that is but when you use a BT to connect to your Pc, Laptop there are BT Dongle available with an external Antenna Plug. I use them at Home and the signal increase is amazing.

Sadly the Icron stuff is sssoooo expencive (and works good...). Are there some "Asian" Equivalents?

I use both an Icron USB via Glasfiber also an Chinese one who work both equaly good.

Nope it seem it is EU wide. Here in AT its also I must pay import Tax based on the total bill who mean shipping and product.

Sry here its very late and I feel a bit sleepy! During some Livestream I tought about thinks I as an Admin should do that is making a Backup of my System...

So I look up on some Company who did produce Backup Software in the past and I get a shock the are more or less want monthly Payment and that I Upload everything into her Cloud...

OMG... I have my own NAS with I guess +60TB?! So I want to transfer the Backup onto my Nas! not into a Cloud.

I also travel often and need to make an Backup via an VPN Tunnel. Sadly the Internet at Home have an slow Upload with 700kb... And yes I will safe Money on my Contract.

So are there some Company who still produce an Backup Software who even can transfer the Backup over an Slow and maybe buggy, laggy Connection without complain every 5 Minute that the connection is lost?

I often use Filezilla and an FTP Server at Home to transfer Pictures. Thankfully the think and try again and again to Upload the Data to my Server when the connection is laggy and I dont need to care about that. That is what I want from an Backup Software.

Nope its not an Ad I dont know that guy... but when I see Win11 on a Phone it could give me maybe finally the option to do stuff when I take public Transport I dont want to do on an Tablet since the can be snatched away pretty quick... So does on the Phone run what some people mention the x86 emulation for non Arm Software?
