  1. Hi All, Im looking to buy this motherboard and RAM and a 2700x - https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B450I-GAMING-PLUS-AC#support-mem-14 - https://www.corsair.com/ca/en/Categories/Products/Memory/Vengeance-PRO-RGB-Black/p/CMW16GX4M2C3000C15 Do you think it will be fine to run at 3000mhz even though its not explicitly on the supported list? or should i just stick to the supported list? The CMU16GX4M2C3000C15 is on the supported list and i think its just a refreshed/newer model. Thanks in advance!
  2. I was planning on keeping it for quite a number of years (~5), so i dont think a used laptop will suit.
  3. Hi all! Im thinking of getting a new portable computer (so tablet or laptop) i would prefer a proper keyboard because i like to use it on the occasion (2-4hrs per week). I dont really care whether its android, chrome os or windows i only plan to use it to: browse the web watch youtube/netflix write documents on the occasion (probably 2-4 hrs per week) I was thinking the Asus Chromebook C302 and im an aussie soo everything is expensive. (http://shop.asus.com/store/asusau/en_AU/pd/ThemeID.34023100/productID.5106982000) The other one i was looking at was the Acer Spin 1 but alas they are not sold in australia (https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/NX.GL7AA.001) Anything upto the ~$900 AUD (~$600 USD) mark is alright, suggestions?
  4. 4.14% isnt "considerably higher"... not even the usual 6-8%
  5. OMG i instantly installed this. I literally just had a friend bail on me to go play pokemon go. soo over this shit.
  6. https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GTX_1080_Gaming_X/3.html i ment that one, the msi equiv
  7. k fair point, hadnt really looked at the evga ones, the msi ones, eg g1 gaming, definitely does
  8. Every AIB of the 1080 has more than a single 8 pin....
  9. Remember that time vessel asked us for our credit card, then i didnt get to watch my daily LTT video... yeah like this
  10. Difficulties? Really? I was promised a year free and now its asking for my credit card? really? No way man... vessel is a piece of shit im not giving them my credit card. Not to mention this!
  11. This is the most over sensationalised news story ever. Their only extending the current GST (same as the VAT for Europeans) onto digital products like steam, itunes, google play, netflix etc etc. Its definitely not a steam tax.
