  1. I tried my best, sorry I was terrible XD I hope all goes well
  2. This tells me then that you have either a: a bad thermal paste on your chip or b: you got a faulty card. I would reach out to evga for a new card, unless you know how to demount your gpu and apply new thermal paste.
  3. Also before I go any further, do you know what DDU is? Its a small software that wipes your graphics drivers clean, run this program, restart pc and reinstall the newest nividia drivers. This sounds silly but this could very be a simple issue like this. https://www.guru3d.com/.../display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
  4. That range between your 1% (lowest possible) and your average fps have me very worried, this could be an issue with the gpu chip itself and not airflow......more research is required, let me get back to you in about 5 minuets and ill have an answer
  5. Run Heaven with the standards of a 1070, then report back here with the results. Its still under warranty as you said so don't worry to much.
  6. Amazing deal, any b450 you can find under $100 is great, plus that great IO and sexy rgb. I have this board in an older rig with an 2400g. Given you have the case and a good aio, this board is great for overclocking.
  7. I have the same exact issue with windows 10, could be caused by one of there recent updates. My best advice, just prevent windows from going to sleep/turning the screen off. ive googled the issue 100 times over and there seems to be no fix at the momment
  8. You very well may have some airflow or flow issues in your AIO. Are you famliear with any benchmarking software? if so, I have some suggestions
  9. Check every capacitor on the board, and make sure to check EVERY CONNECTION to the board. If I were there in person I could diagnose it in an instant lol. On a second note, if you know every component in the pc is fine, then you may have a bad board
  10. Heres my logic: If this new motherboard has the same connectors as your old one, and everything worked fine. Then it should be fine.
  11. The 4 pin is all you need, if your power supply doesn't have it, and your old motherboard only had a 4 pin, you should be fine.
  12. Yeah knowing apple, I doubt you could install another os. But also a simple google search could tell you more
  13. I'm not even a Microsoft fan...but damn they know how to make a laptop
  14. Check your case connectors to the power switch on your motherboard. I don't suspect the PSU because as you said, there is lights going to the mobo.

    Battlefield V

I would if EA knew how to optimize there games
  16. A good mix of both id say, but the material they give you is mostly the only thing you really need to study. I never had anyone to study with.
  17. As someone who has there ccna....im 18 and have found some use for it from time to time. as the comment above me has said, its good to get your foot in the door. The test are pretty hard (with a 85%fail rate for the ccent and 95% for ccna) and its up to you really. If your really interested in networking id say go for it!
  18. HWiNFO > Ryzen Master. Sounds like it figured itself out..... If theres anything that happens update it here. Also make sure to watch your voltage when it starts to get under load.
  19. This would be your best bet for the monitor you have, best value on this list by far and it will really let you make use of that freesync
  20. Then you for sure don't need the extra gigs, this is an amazing 1080p card for all games. Im sure the extra £100 could be put towards better things. a 10% performance boost in reality means maybe 5-3 more frames per second in any given game.
  21. Depends on what your doing really, I find that 70% of the time the extra gigs are not worth it. If your looking to go for 1440p gaming then perhaps you want the extra vram. Again, it depends on what your playing and how many monitors you have etc.
  22. When did you get your ryzen 5? Also, I recommend downgrading as well. If the voltage keeps going back to 1.406V then something isn't right with your cpu itself. Set back to F23 and see where that gets you.
  23. Could I have a full list of all your specs for your pc? would help a lot. thanks!
  24. Well here is something that can help, if you have two monitors (its fine if you don't) open up task manager. Go to the process tab and open it during the game you are playing. Tab out and see what the values of each resource are being used. For example if your cpu is always at 100% then something is wrong.
