  1. No thanks also borderless when it did work, stuttered and had lots of screen tear regardless what was selected.
  2. I've had this before, and its fixed itself, so I'm not sure. I've looked through all the settings and files for the game and nothing is related really to resolution, or defaults of displaying etc. Any time I go out of the game it will window itself, which doesn't matter, but when I go to fullscreen again, it puts it in to 1920x1080.... and yeah, I go out of the screen alot. annnooy.mp4
  3. Ok problem solved. I just re-flowed some of the soldering around the USB port and the volume toggles. I can now wiggle the cable as much as I like now with no issues. I also noticed no more rattling noise from super heavy low bass. They sound wonderful again, I see myself keeping these things for the foreseeable future and I'll buy another set sooner or later just to have as a backup incase these get damaged or discontinued. As for the LED I still have no clue why its a different color, its hue is off on all the spectrum of colors. Maybe a bad LED diode or controller.
  4. The 752s did not have enough cushion on top for me and I do not want inline controls on the cord. My friend also had HyperX and they weren't the best and felt cheap to me, they are on the cheaper side aswell. I'm gonna see if a different cord makes a difference. The problem is the headset itself not really drivers or anything. The wires were not really insolated either so I might take them back apart and de-solder and then heat shrink the wires. I don't use them that much either, but I set them down a lot on top of my computer. But they have only been unplugged maybe a handful of times. If nothing good happens I'll just buy another pair of them then, cause others Im looking at don't seem to meet same specs or sound quality. I've never used the mic on them either, thing still has the little blue tag on it.
  5. Literally sounds like a flashbang went off. Its done this 3 times now over the past 3 months, enough to bother my ear for the next few hours. The cable for the micro USB can be moved enough to make the headset cut out, the actual connecter on the PCB is just fine though. I've noticed within the past month that the left side LED on the magnetic cover is not synced with the color that is on the backing, like say its set dark purple, the LED for the mag plate will be a pinkish red. Same for green it will be a yellow color. I just took the whole thing apart and all the wires look fine. I've had these since December 2020 and they are so much better than my 5 sets of Logitech G430s 2016-2019. I tried one of my G430 back on to listen to them and they sounded like trash. Is there any recommendations for similar headphones. These are bigger/bulky for some people I guess and some people say they hurt their heads or the pads fall off/shift easy, I've never had a problem with them. I can wear them for days at a time if I wanted. I also like bass. I do not want open-back.
  6. Are the people using Windows 11 just trying it out or something?
  7. Sony/Magix has crap for GPU support I have come to understand. The amount of trouble to get a 10 series to work in 13/14 is bull####. 15 works the best by far using Nvenc. CUDA profile doesn't acknowledge new GPUs and uses CPU instead with it still selected. If I got rid of the GPU completely I'd be able to afford 1/4 of my fuel system for my Audi, which would only cover the Injectors. Also any new Vegas Pro is plagued with issues and I haven't had a problem so I see no reason to change. Even people with 14 and 15 have problems and I have not ever had any, until using newer hardware which prompted me to test stuff for days before having reliable presets.
  8. I don't know. I don't pay attention to tech stuff like I used to. I only found out cause I was having trouble so I started looking up stuff again. I haven't been attentive since like 2018 Edit: Speaking of which I still use 1809, no thanks new windows. Screw updates.
  9. If I downgrade I will have better video editing support as Sony Vegas 13 14 half on 15, don't support the 2080. If I'm able to trade the card and make some money its well worth it to me. I've personal never had any problems until upgrading to this GPU and its kinda sad for 700$ that this card is a load of baloney I've only had problems with it. And previous gen it was fine, even on my 1080 and 1060.
  10. I have no voltage control, "MSI RTX 2080 DUKE Voltage?" , "I've been unsuccessful and can't find any other info on the card. It doesn't overclock at all. 50+ Core and 100+ Ram, and that's it."
  11. Can you not open taskmanger? I only heard of Windows 11 like 2 days ago. In 10 there is many ways to access things without have things in front of you. Powershell? Command Prompt? Safe mode? etc
  12. I've been unsuccessful and can't find any other info on the card. It doesn't overclock at all. 50+ Core and 100+ Ram, and that's it. It runs better with no overclock. I Think the DUKE name is one of the cheaper cards if I'm not mistaken. I have found a few $100 MSI 980Tis to mess with and I'm willing to downgrade to a 1080Ti. Im not willing to buy a 3080 or Ti model until they have fixed the crashing and burning stuff and come out with a new revision.
  13. I have overclocked my ram a few times to see what kind of timing I could get, and then put it back to normal how it has been for the past year. A little before and after that I've had Roblox crash randomly for no reason. I have a crappy MSI RTX 2080 Duke that doesn't overclock at all compared to my 1060 Since the past 2 days, I've gotten BOSD Kernal kernel_mode_heap_corruption and critical_structural_corruption Also Chrome doesn't like me and wants to give me Status break point errors and all kinds of stupid things by scrolling on Facebook marketplace or just watching a video and ded. When I first had stuff running I had trouble using Sony Vegas and even opening the Minecraft stuff, I assume its cause things on the other pc were all over the place. I haven't had any issues since then until now I've ran stuff on Powershell, but I like using CMD better. PS C:\Windows\system32> Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth Repair-WindowsImage : The restore operation failed. Either the repair source was not found or the component store cannot be repaired. At line:1 char:1 + Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth + ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ + CategoryInfo : NotSpecified: (:) [Repair-WindowsImage], COMException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : Microsoft.Dism.Commands.RepairWindowsImageCommand This system is a duplicate of my other computer OS which I used with Samsung data migration and both use the same drivers expect for what was needed new. I've messed with the ram before and it never gave me issues. Windows 1809 Nvidia 432.00 MSI Z490 Meg Ace i7-10700k stock with higher turbo Dominator Platinum 32GB 2x16 3200 cl16 managed to get 3400 cl14-16-16-32 MSI RTX 2080 Duke 980 Pro 500gb peice of crap, probably a rebadged 970 250gb 860 evo 1tb actually better idle cpu 0% idle mem 5% everything else 0 I don't care to change my version of windows or upgrade my Display driver, as this is a recent thing. If it is a ram problem that just means I can get 64gb for the same price I bought this junk 32gb kit. I can dumps if people know where they are, I have stuff changed in group policy and have disable and deleted most things to the minimum.
  14. Sorry, got side tracked, and forgot to post the link (hehehe) https://www.dr-lex.be/hardware/hdar_review.html Also this thing has lots of products they are talking about, sorry that I do not have time to search it right now tho. https://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/accessories/1656.html
  15. I'm not one to bump down, resolution or settings. I play on the 2560x1080. Though the 1060 is directed at 1080p. It handles 2560x1080 fine, but it can't handle BeamNG.drive even if setting are lowered. Lowering setting in that game makes it look what it isn't supposed to look like, "crap". 5.5Ghz was a one time run, with some question set up on my fans.. and house fans. I normally run it at 5.2Ghz. Also the GPU is maxing out, while CPU sits at 23-40 usage. $249 was when I was gonna sell it during the summer. I've been busy since then, with school, and car work, and a load of other bull.
