  1. So I had an issue with one of my sticks of ram (scraped off the contact pins in several places) so i had to replace that pair. I now have 4 sticks of Trident G.Skill 3600 MHz ram. I have them clocked to 3200 MHz at 1.35v since the pc wont even post over that MHz, and i get Kernel service exceptions when the voltage is lower. Well now all the games im playing are crashing the second it starts to get more intense. I had MSI Afterburner open monitoring all the resources, and nothing spiked before it crashed. Everything just dropped in usage once it crashed. In addition to that, I saw MSI afterburner only says I have 16384mb ram, while task manager and dxdiag say 32gb. In dxdiag it does say I have a 23gb page file and 17gb available. Suggestions?
  2. I know the title sucks, I couldnt think of a good one. So pretty much one of my sticks of ram is bad (broken contacts) and wouldnt let the pc boot. I had 4 3600mhz sticks clocked at 3200 with 1.5v. Well since I removed that stick, along with another to balance the ram, my pc is giving me 3 beeps and boots into safe mode in bios. It will let me boot into windows if I put the ram lower than 2800, but then all my games are crashing. Why cant my pc boot over 3000mhz? Update: Every 20 or so minutes the screens flash black and chrome crashes, along with discord.
  3. Make sure when/ if you install new ram, it is the exact models supported by the manufacturer. it should say in the manual what models are compatible. I have had waaay too many laptop upgrades fail because laptop manufacturers dont allow just any ram. Its really annoying.
  4. Is the problem that the lights stay on when you turn off the pc? Or is the pc freezing and shutting down, leaving the lights on? And what types of lights? decorative RGB, or like white and green indicator lights?
  5. System would most likely benefit from the cooling, as most do. I dont see an issue with running it 24/7 just check for leaks every week or so. I am paraniod so im checking every day, but as long as the pressure stays under the max, you'll be fine.
  6. I bought a dell poweredge r610, in hopes to use it for a home server. It has no OS on it, so i dont know where to start. My goal is to have a server that can A.) Host a minecraft server, B.) Run with raid for drives, and C.) Be a storage server for home. I dont know much about this stuff, but the most important thing is the storage. I want to be able to drag and drop files via the NETWORK tab in Windows 10 file explorer. Any help would be appreciated. discord is a good form of communication for me, so mine is Sin Eater#5417. Thanks in advance!
