Well, tomorrow begins my occupancy in being a part-time retail assistant and a self-study Korean student.

I still remember a few months ago when working in an IT helpcentre doing sporadic 45 hour work weeks gave me essentially zero time to myself so hopefully my new chapter in life working part-time whilst I study Korean on my own accord will remedy my work-study-life balance for a while.

I'm 19, and I really want to earn some money which is why I've chosen a part-time job. It'll give me and my family some income whilst I also self-study Korean! I'm super committed to learning it as I believe it will benefit my future and my understanding of Korean culture.

For the past 4 weeks, I've managed to get a consistent schedule of 3 days a week, 5 hours per week studying some more Korean, I hope to increase that to speed up my time learning and get me back on track, as I've noticed I tend to lose what I've learnt quite quickly unfortunately, which is why I've chosen to commit more time to it.
