  1. I've had good success printing out things very similar to tubes horizontally albeit they were quite small, but the water sweating out is a concern. I wonder if it could be alleviated types of filament.
  2. Basically in the title, but basically I was thinking could you 3D print some if not most of the parts for water cooling? Obviously you can't do some parts, but things like tubes, fittings and maybe even water blocks could be possible. Idk I think it would be fun to watch especially if they used dual extrusion to give it a bit more LTT flair
  3. I'm currently updating icue to see if it helps, but from past experiences it's done little to nothing to help sadly.
  4. I've had a Corsair Glaive for a few years now, and it's had the double clicking problem for over a year now. It's been intermittent to where some months it's fine and month months it's horrible. I have found a software fix before that worked great, but I didn't really trust it because the site to download it from was kinda shady. If anyone does know of a trusted program that can fix or even help alleviate this problem for me that would be amazing. Also before anyone says just go buy a new mouse I wish I could, but money is a bit tight for me currently.
  5. Honestly if you want him to learn let him learn from his mistakes. As long as you're starting with a fresh install for him whats the harm of doing another fresh install if he does something wrong. Thats honestly how I learned.
  6. Personally I would wait, but I'm also content with my current setup. Also I would drop the FireCuda I have the 1TB version and it really doesn't do much maybe get a SSD instead
  7. The easiest and cheapest combo would probably be something like Wyze, but I think that they force you to use cloud backups. Then again if someone were to break in what would be stopping them from taking your NAS.
  8. I've been using windows defending alone for years now. Now having a 3rd party one can help because they usually update faster, but as long as you're smart about where you should go and watch what you download you'll be fine.
  9. Dude maybe your gpu fan died or something it isn't always windows update. Something is wrong with your GPU is it's going over 90C why don't you fix that instead of continuing to cry about windows update
  10. After running the 130Hz OC for a few days I can definitely tell the monitor is warmer no idea by how much, but the monitor is a Sceptre C305W-2560UN if anyone is wondering.
  11. Alright so a few months ago I found a good deal on an ultra-wide monitor that was only like $200 and had some nice specs. I finally got to overclocking it today found that it could overclock from 85 Hz all the way up to 130 Hz. Now the monitor already wasn't great with things like ghosting because it's a VA panel. IDK what are your thoughts on this OC I know that it can shorten the lifespan on my monitor, but does anyone actually know how much damage it can really do? Also does anyone have recommendations on a good cheap thing to color calibrate my monitor cause out of the box it was really bad, but I think I decent manual calibration I just want it to be a bit better.
  12. I can definitely see what you said for "you buy it. you toss it." because I had the Iphone 6 for 2 years then the 7+ for like 13 months and i'll probably only keep my S8 for a few more months before I upgrade to something like a Pixel 3. I always loved jailbreaking my iPhone I want to root my S8, but I feel like it's quite a bit more complicated than with IOS sadly.
  13. Alright, so I've been having a few issues with my Galaxy S8 that I've owned for about 9-10 months now, and I want to talk about (possible) planned obsolescence. Samsung Galaxy S8 After having this phone for around 9-10 months it's not looking bright for this phone. After about 6 months I noticed a significant change in battery life. It wasn't by a substantial amount only about an hour to an hour and a half decrease, but it was a sudden change. This may have been caused by me, but I normally don't change my daily usage very much or often. The next thing that popped up was that over the past 2 months or so the phone has been having worse and worse lag spikes (MKBHD recently talked about how he was having a similar issue with his Pixel 2). This is my first time owning an Android device, so I lack experience in this issue. Then most recently I've noticed that when playing videos the audio will often dim as if a notification popped up yet none have. Apple The last iPhone that I had was the 7+ which I had for just over a year I believe. It had great battery life up until it's birthday when the overall battery health started dropping faster than what was normal in the first year. It started to lag a bit, but nothing too bad. that's honestly about it at least for this phone. Closing Statements I love Android, and I never want to go back to IOS. I think that S8 and the S9 look fantastic, but if this is a commonplace thing for Samsung then I NEVER want to go back to Samsung ever again. Between the awful Android skin (not the worse but still stock android is FAR better) and the bloatware (not to mention the rebranded stock Android apps that are preloaded with Samsung) it makes it hard for me to recommend to someone to get a Samsung device. I'd love to hear everyone else's thoughts on this and your experiences.
