  1. so overclocking wise what sort off gains and i get from a 24/7 chiller system (sub air temperature but over due point) compared to just water-cooled and if its not that great is it worth doing sub zero? i don't plan on doing it for a while and i though i would get everything straight before i did loads of research into phase change/ sub zero cooling. my ultimate plan is to get some wicked overclocking on a 8700k and 2 980ti's, i just wanted to know if i should even think about doing 24/7 subzero for overclocking or if it is better just to do a nice water cooled loop.
  2. so i am building a pc for my sister and am trying to cut down the price i know that i should put the os on an ssd but dont have much money to work with so i was thinking of getting a 128 gb ssd for the operating system and programs and stuff and use 2 of the wd greens (320 gb each) which i have salvaged from sky boxes and raid them for her games is this stupid or a good idea.
  3. razer black widow chroma razer greens
  4. i would recommend you a blade stealth but they are a bit out of your price range, btw what mac book do you have (specs) it might just be trash ware on your mac. maybe you could get a mac-book air or something but they are a bit lacking in the "computational power" department tbh. i have been looking for a laptop with a bit of punch to it ,and have it last a day without needing to charge it. and it is quite hard to find, the 2 i have found which where in my price range where (not any more because the blade 14 is sold out and everywhere else is now £1800) the razer blade 14 and the dell 7000 gaming except the dell is heavy and the blade is out of your and my price range. i mean the other option is to get a second hand laptop if you dont mind then you could buy the last gen blade 14 for 1000 ukp.
  5. you could be running out of ram use task manager to see your ram usage, it could just be hitting the ram limit and everything grinding to a halt
  6. dude i have used both and it really depends if your always at home go for a vr set up if you alway away go for the switch easy if you a bit of both get a coin and flip it if it where me i would go vr every day.
  7. take photos of your stuff using your phone and sell everything you have an buy a dslr. jk though i would recommend shooting in raw.
  8. thats really cool i think there is a little bit to much of a yellow tint but that is my preference i really would like it if it was changed in lightworks after to give it a bit of a whiter feal for the snow, although i do understand you might not want to do that but overall it is a really nice photo with the sun and the trees. i am super indecisive between these 2 photos so i have put them both here. i have other of similar or better "quality" but i think these are the 2 maybe. these are probs taken on a cannon 70d and a sigma lence although they might have been taken on a 550d i cant tell intill i find the raw images.
  9. how much are you willing to spend?
  10. i would agree with him to some extent i would recommend waiting for the next set of gpus to be released and buying a second hand passcal gpu then so that you get the lowest prices.
  11. i am using a set of kraken v2 pros they are gaming head set the mic is ok and clear but it is a head set not a mic. the audio from them is very nice i enjoy using them they seem to fit your price range but i am sure there are others out there. https://www2.razer.com/eu-en/store/razer-kraken-pro-v2 or there are the 7.1 which are better because of usb and stuff https://www2.razer.com/eu-en/store/razer-kraken-71-v2
