  1. they make a higher end model thats basically the same but wireless i forgot the name of it
  2. no it wont draw more than 75W the VBios on those cards wont allow it, even moving the sliders to 100% the card wont draw more than what its speced and designed to draw, besides it doesnt have enough extra power from the PCIE slot to draw, even if it did it would just crash and not hurt anything
  3. i really like my hyperX cloud 2 head set and its only $100 USD idk what this is in Canadian tokens but they fit well, they are comfortable for long hours on my large ears and head, the included mic is detachable with a port cover , 2 options of earcups, solid metal build and decent weight, but if youre looking for the highest of high end ignore me
  4. uhh... maybe it just died? that sounds really crazy dude im pressing F for you
  5. you might have a shitty mouse, if its not a 1000hz polling rate it could feel much less responsive, also if you jsut have a shit mouse it will be less responsive just as a fact of it having a worse sensor and being a LOT slower, if its not that then it could be your CPU being too slow to send the information of the moving mouse to the game in time for you to not notice or feel like youi dont atleast
  6. not true the 3gb card has less memory bandwidth and less performance over all also less cores and shaders its a 1060 lite
  7. no you cant use 4 of them because there are no 4 way NVlink connectors they ONLY make a 2 way link
  8. but also dont buy the 1050ti get a 570 or 580 for 200 instead
  9. it wont damage anything unless youre power modding the card to draw more power from the PCIE slot but that requires wayyyyy too much effort for basically no return youll be fine to use that card and even overclock it dont worry about it
  10. if you dont know the difference already it would "feel the same" but if you played on your 1060 3gb and then on your friends 6gb youd notice he gets more FPS at the same settings or better settings at still better fps
  11. yes it is worth it for the 6gb oiver the 3gb also most games will use alot of the 3gb Vram anyways better to get the 6gb and better performancev
  12. your AIO could be dying how old is it? might be time to look into a new cooler
  13. also you can get much cheaper fan controllers or just use the mother board and a cheap $5 splitter cable, unless you want REALLLY REALLLY granular fan control then by all means buy a fancy controller
  14. get 2 sticks of ram especially with ryzen they really like memory and the benifits of duel channel are much greater for a ryzen CPU, also maybe try a different model of 1060 6g as that one is smaller and wont clock as better because it will be hotter
  15. i use hyperX cloud 2s and i absolutely love everything about them, they fit my head they are comfortable for long use, they have really solid construction if that helps
  16. probably not true, i had an i5 4440 runing in a small case that waas overheating it and after i delidded it it stopped running at 100C and auto shutting down, now it runs at 80c with aida 64 and the only thing i changed was the TIM between the IHS and the DIE
  17. you should also check to make sure your pump is still working, and remount your cooler or just check to see if its mounted correctly
  18. well one dont test with prime 95 its a power virus and its totally inaccurate for testing an overclock or really anything at all ,use something like cinebench 3x back to back or aida 64 its much more realistic workloads that still generate more stress than a game or something like that as its a render program
  19. its probably because youre playing on 1080p screen with a 1080ti most anyone els with a 1080ti is 1440P +
  20. if all youre doing is gaming get the intel CPU its IPC per core is better than ryzen and youll get more FPS ****but this probably wont matter with a card like a 1050ti as its not powerful enough to even fully utilize either of those CPUs thus it actually doesnt matter just choose which ever is cheaper**** unless youre going to upgrade to a 10606b or a 1070 level card later in the future, it doesnt matter but even then you shouldnt pair anything more than a 1060 3gb with a locked i3 and not past a 1070 really for the unlocked i3 thats more i5-i7 territory as they have very similar gaming performance with these coffee lake cpus
  21. i really like the feel of my razer blackwidow silent edition ( theyre razer/kailh orange ) but if youve been using cherry switches youll probably want to stick with those unless you hate the keys more than just the over all keyboard
  22. one last thing, its not the same size screw driver as your regular case screws its a small screw, so make sure you have an appropriately sized one that wont strip screws
