  1. So I ran HWINFO64 and got a log from it at the time of the crash. Sadly, it would only save to a csv file but I found a viewer for it. I cannot seem to notice anything too abnormal in the log but I am noticing something concerning. Despite most of my GPU's temps reading normal it was saying my hotspot was hitting 95c at the time of crash. As well some GPU power anomalies kind of? I am not too sure what I am looking at, or supposed to be looking for, so I am still unsure if I found my cause or not.
  2. So, mild update. Defaulting the profile worked for awhile but now it is back to this behavior. However, it has slightly changed. Now I will be playing a game and things will seem normal until suddenly some applications start to not function correctly. They will start to not have their UI be responsive, clicking things does nothing. For awhile windows will persist and I can attempt to close things but nothing will happen. If I try and cntrl alt delete nothing will happen and then all that works is moving my mouse around. Ive tried repairing the OS a few times with syscan but its not doing much, if anything. So I am thinking I need to go ahead and swap out some hardware. Should I try my PSU? I have a like, 2019ish era Rm850x so I am trying to see what I should change this out for.
  3. I did a memtest a long time ago when I figured out the custom profile needed to get 3200 stable. Though, hardware ages and I can only imagine that the 2000 series is aging like a fine milk. lol. I may try reverting it to the base clocks and see if that fixes it.
  4. Hello, I am writing into you guys today because I have had an ongoing issue that keeps randomly rearing its ugly head. When I play most games, sans League of Legends for some reason, mid game my system will just fully lock up. Audio will either cut out, loop, or sometimes fade into a long eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee sound while the screen remains frozen. I do not get a BSOD or anything, it just fully locks up the screen. Even in event viewer I do not get much information to go off of besides the following error codes. I am genuinely stumped at this point on what to do so I am turning to you guys for some help here. Event 41, Kernel Power Event 2, Kernel-EventTracinbg Full system specs OS - Windows 10 64bit Age of system (4+ years) Age of OS installation - 2ish years? R5 2600 MSI Gaming X 2080 TI Asus Strix B450 F GSKILL 16Gb TridentZ DDR4 3200 kit.(This is a potential culprit because I have heard Ryzen 2000s had memory issues. 5. I do. I am complaining that I have to consider myself lucky to have it simply due to the state of the world. Hence why I blamed the pandemic.
  6. So I was unable to get anything but a 5600x for my recent upgrade(Thanks pandemic). I want to push this thing to the absolute limits and I am hitting an issue. I have an old 2018 H115I Pro RGB and am planning to sell it to get a slightly beefier aio. I was looking between the EKWB 360 AIO or the Arctic LF 2 420. I can fit both really easily and, realistically I know the 420 should outperform the 360 by a mile but I am a bit of a sucker for the EK's looks. I was thinking about just buying three rgb fans and put the Arctic one in push pull to kind of make up for the lack in the looks department. What rgb fans would be good to go with the Arctic if I went with it?
  7. I managed to get the 5600x at MSRP thanks to Neweggs lottery system, was aiming for the 5800x but what can you do. I was looking at Motherboards and I am still not sure what chipset to go with. As well which moterboard from the respective chipset to go with. Right now I am looking at the Asus B550 or X570 Strix.
  8. Another unfun update. The computer is now fully BSODing with Clock_Watchdog_Timeout error. Can anyone help me? Please. x__x
  9. Had the memory problem a bit back. I got it stable with my own custom settings and it fully passes several sweeps of memtest so the memory is fine. I am on 1909 so I will try and update?
  10. Just an update. I ddued my graphics drivers and installed slightly older, known to be stable, drivers to test and see if I still experience the same issues and I have confirmed that I do. I am not quite sure where to go from here. Could really use some help.
  11. Im having similar issues myself but with a 2080 TI. I was told their were some problems with the current drivers causing issues like this so I am trying to use slightly older drivers, from about mid november. Will tell you if it works.
  12. For the past few days I have been having back to back crashes in Day Z and Second Life. I am not sure what has been causing the issue but I am seeing several Application Hangs and LiveKernelEvents popping up on the event manager when these crashes happen. I was going to see if anyone could help me make sense of the information with the event viewer and actually solve the issue at hand. 13. I was using the default settings before. I turned it to the nvidia one and used rgb full with 10 bit color and it seems a little better?
