  1. i figured it out forgot to update this... some files had weird permissions. i just ran chmod -r 0777 ./unrealdir cd ./unrealdir make ARGS="-clean" ./Setup.sh ./GenerateProjectFiles.sh
  2. I followed this and i'm on Ubuntu 19.10. My error if more is needed I will happily provide. Thanks ahead of time, for your time!
  3. alsa --forcereload alsamixer Crank headphone slider to 100% (muted or not makes no difference) and run this to save alsactl --save Then set this command to run on startup to apply previous settings alsactl restore
  4. That sounds like a place for me lol, i will give it a go but im not gonna mark this as solved yet in case someone answers here
  5. as far as i can tell everything is setup correctly, im really not sure whats going on here. Although im fairly sure my board does some port retaking in windows if that changes much.
  6. Its not muted, and in fact it even recognizes its plugged in but it just stays silent if I try to output to it, only the front panel works for some reason.
  7. Basically sound from the back panel dosnt work, not sure why. This issue has persisted in every Ubuntu version ive tested on this pc from 18-19. Currently I'm on 19.(newest) so if anyone knows a specific fix for that it would be appreciated, as this is the only thing stopping me from just moving to Ubuntu. My motherboard is the z370 gaming 7 the rest of the specs are in the footer thing if needed. it uses a ESS SABRE 9018 DAC and according to alsa a Realtek ALC1220 Chip Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks for your time ahead of time!
  8. here is an example but this also happens with chrome or any other browser. If its the game natively its fine, its just video full screen that freaks out... also this doesn't happen with other video players just web based ones such as chrome, Firefox, brave, and discord... If anyone knows a fix to this or at least why it happens it would be greatly appreciated. Weird fix: trying to screen record it with obs seems to make it just start working properly... This seemed like a windows issue but if someone thinks I should put it in web/programs I will.
  9. A friend solved this for me... all it took was an A record with the ftp:// prefix.
  10. Also my networking knowledge is awful so heads up you might have to explain things a little...
  11. a vps and and a small computer behind my home router I run everything through cloudflare
  12. i have two but i wanna keep everything on that main server. I was experimenting with the proxy thing but i couldn't figure it out. I was experimenting with the built in proxy tcp thingy.
