I have a Parrot MKi9000 system in my car. After a period of a couple months of not using it, I went to use it and the remote wouldn't work (The in-dash stuff still works as my phone still connects to it and can play bluetooth music), just the remote does nothing. I have tried all the attempts to re-pair the remote and have replaced the battery... Without avail. Is there a way to test the remote to see if it's actually broken? (detect if a signal is being released when I click a button on the remote or something?) Replacement remotes cost 60$...

Those speakers have a headphone jack. Run your headphones through the speakers.

Couldn't you just do a system restore to before you did the updates?
