Millennium Force's Achievements

  1. Yes, I have reseated it and done the runaround it works perfectly when it gets into Windows and I now have a quad channel ram kit so it will hit xpm and be just fine. But if I turn it off, and reboot within 20 mins it will give me the cpu led error again and after I power cycle it a few times or wait longer than 20 mins it will post and say overclocking failed and kick me to the bios. This is with everything stock other than xmp
  2. Okay so the title says it all i have 2 dual channel kits of ddr3 1600mhz Tactical tracers timings 8-8-8-24 and with all 4 dims installed my system will not post, it actually gives me a CPU led, on my Asus x79 Sabertooth, which has the latest bios. Ive been trying everything I could think of to get it to work if someone would please help me that would be awesome. My cpu is a 3970X and if im leaving anything out needed to be known so you can help me please say so!
  3. Okay so im looking to buy an lga 2011 cpu and i want opinions and discussions on what lga 2011 cpu i should buy, should i go with a 3930k because the older sandy bridge cpus had good TIM or a 4930k due to its updated architecture or a 3970x because you can get them on ebay or amazon for about $200 more than a 4930k or 3930k, is it worth the extra money??
  4. Haha epic, that diffently represents the pc master race well
  5. Those enterprise level pci-e ssds...like the ocz one on Amazon that is 1.6tb and costs 9,000+ dollars us
  6. I've thought about doing this myself before because i don't use my gaming rig as much as i should, especially considering the amount of money ive put into it. But, i think you should keep it, and the reason why is because you'll more then likely end up kicking yourself for it later, what if you see some game you cant run on your laptop and you want to play it? It is smart to be thinking about doing things like getting your car but if you sell it then your like oh i want a powerful system again, it will cost you more to rebuild it then to keep it and just work and put money back for your car. Hope this helps you, or at least provides insight
  7. Ive been having problems with my 2 7970s doing this in all types of applications, like occasionally it will just artifact. I really don't want to replace them but what else am i supposed to do to get it to stop?
  8. dont waste the extra money get a PB278Q awesome monitor for pretty much anything!!!
