-0.115 is a big drop and can cause instability while the cpu fluctuates in load.
I personally can't use anything more than -0.025 (note the extra 0) on my z390, i think on my z370 extreme4 the max was -0.07, so ya, -0.115 is alot, if you don't like using the extra voltage, use a lower voltage llc, or just clock the cpu higher.

Do any of your displays have built in speakers?
Best thing to do would be test to see if running audio through HDMI to your display results in the same issue.

RocketJump got a reaction from Ebony Falcon in Accidentally Overvolted 8700k
So I was messing around with my OC and accidentally set my offset to 0.1 and booted into Windows. I opened up CPU-Z as soon as the desktop came up and saw that my 8700k was getting 1.568v and immediately shut down and switched it back in the BIOS. This was a few hours ago and everything seems to be fine since but being as paranoid as I am, I'm just curious if this might have caused any sort of damage? I'm thinking it should be fine, I never ran anything intensive during this time and the it was only running with this voltage for max 2 minutes but I wanted to make sure.
