  1. Anything that doesn't require a whole lot of GPU performance should run fine. A few in particular that spring to mind would be: FTL: Faster Than Light Papers Please Crypt of the NecroDancer Undertale
  2. Yes. Your GPU will be close, but should just clear the front fans.
  3. SLI just isn't really worth it for gaming anymore. Not many modern games support it (or at least not well...), and I doubt there will be anything that a 3090 won't be able to play on maximum settings as a single card anyways. Unless you have bag of money you don't know what to do with, or are using specific applications that can leverage multiple GPUs, I would just get one. Spend the saved $1400 on a ballin' watercooling setup or something.
  4. I'm not saying these are what they should buy, simply telling my experience. I wasn't saying to buy the Cloud II, I was giving that as an example of that brand and type of "gaming" headset. Don't buy 5 year old headphones that have successors and competitors that are far superior. That's dumb. I never said AirPods were "good", I know they're not. And as far as the AudioTechnicas, all I said was I liked them and they way they sound with my media. I've used them for music and gaming, and enjoyed the experience. There are definitely better things out there for some people, I just wanted to give my two cents. I have heard that the M40x's are better, and I will concede that they are cheaper, but I haven't used them so I can't say for myself. I know they're designed for monitoring, I know some people think they are too heavy and the clamping is too tight. Just giving my opinion on one of the few products I've actually had the chance to use. I never said any of my points were the best options, or claimed that anything I said was fact. just adding my thoughts and experiences on the products I have used. I apologize if I was unclear with any of that, or if anything I did say was false, I wasn't trying to spread misinformation. Honestly, please fill me in on anything I've said that was incorrect. I am trying to learn more about headphones, speakers and digital audio, but it's hard to find anything other than opinions on this stuff.
  5. I've had my HyperX Cloud II headset for a few years now and they sound great. You can get them for $100 on sale here in Canada no problem. That being said, if you're looking for something with any sort of sound stage they are easily bested by my AirPods. If you want something with a bigger sound, I'd follow one of the recommendations form the people here who actually know what they're talking about. I'm very new to headphones and "high-end" audio, but I've always been a fan of the Audiotechnica ATH-M50x. I'm not going to say they are the best bang for the buck by a long shot, or even amazing headphones, I just find them comfortable and like the way they sound for gaming and my music.
  6. If it's a good quality unit: yeah that will be fine. If it's the cheapest one you can find on Amazon: hard no.
  7. I've used both Chrome and Firefox at some point over the last few years and both are great. They are the leading web browsers for a reason. As for your passwords, I would recommending moving them to a third-party password manager like Bitwarden or LastPass. Once you install the app you can import all your passwords from Chrome and they will stay with you across any browser you decide to use in the future. I personally use Bitwarded because it's open-source and I find the apps are much better than LastPasss' apps.
  8. The 750 you have is more than adequate for that build. The only reason you will ever need more than that is if you start doing some ridiculous overclocking, add a second GPU, or both.
  9. If custom liquid, do that. But if this is between an AIO or a decent air cooler, go air for sure.
  10. I think probably GameFAQs, looking for walkthroghs when I was a kid. I don't think I ever really got onto the forums much though.
  11. Currently Ultralove by Starcadian. I've also been slightly obsessed with Trivium's new album, What the Dead Men Say. https://open.spotify.com/track/0iwTcS6DjSxY1QRriShCWT?si=jTZ_Vvn_RjS7ITx_1JcMBA
  12. I'd like to point out that your reputation is currently "Helpful"... It was meant to be...
  13. Are you able to disable that overlay and see if it improves at all? Or if you don't use it, just uninstall it entirely?
  14. I wonder if something that draws an overlay is taking over and making your CPU think it's not needed (think Discord or Steam in-game overlay). Do you have any sort of recording software or anything like that, which may be running on top of your game?
