Oh, so you're a console peasant. Spreading lies and ignorance because your emotionally attached to sony. Anyway, here is some information for you.

1060 plays games at ultra settings, 1080p, 60fps. source
    Consoles play games (xbox 1 & PS4) at Low settings, 1080p, 30fps.

    Do some research Ya_Mi.

A console would be a waste of money. Don't buy a console.

GPU pricing is ridiculous right now.

I think that the A8 7600 will probably bottleneck the graphics card meaning you won't get all the performance that you pay for.

If you don't want to build a new PC, you're probably better off with a 1050 ti but they aren't as good. The 1050 ti won't bottleneck as much.
To be honest, the 1060 and 1050 ti will perform almost the same because of the CPU bottleneck.

If you buy a 1060 when you upgrade the CPU,  you will have much better performance.

Okay to give you guys better understanding of what has happened and is happening i will explain.
So pretty much I was earning shit all, and wanted to build a pc, i told my mate and he was like yeah, ill help, but if you want to cut costs we can go with an APU, so thats what we did. (Bear in mind I live in NZ and parts are expensive.)
    So I built my little potato (Ryzen 3 2200G, Crucial Ballistix 1x8gb 2666, Barracuda 2tb HDD, 960 evo 250gb, Gigabyte - GA-AB350-GAMING 3, EVGA 550 G2 psu)
The thing is now, I got a new job and can afford to buy a gpu, so I asked my friend in Taiwan to look for a 1070TI for me bu they couldn't find one, just 1070, then RTX 2070 upwards, and the price difference isnt actually that big, So I am willing to dish out for a GPU but I also want to know what else I need to upgrade in my system, like how someone is saying R5 2600 is good, But I am maybe thinking why not go even further.
I would also like recommendations of whether i should look into buy more ram and what speeds etc as I am new to this all really. Bear in mind I will need to save for a while, and the 2070 I can get it in January next year as thats when my friend flys back. for reference the 2070 is the MSI RTX 2070 Gaming Z.

stop saying 1080p and 1440p like they are the same thing as 4k. You only need a more powerful GPU with each resolution increase. the lower framerates of 4k make it significantly easier for a weaker CPU to keep up. You started this topic asking about 4k. Are you trying to run the game at 1080p or at 4k? because our recommendations are going to be VERY different based on this information.

No. A benchmark like this is the BEST indication. It's a real world, repeatable benchmark, not a synthetic benchmark. It runs the game in game scenarios the exact way the game would be played. It runs the camera on a rail. I'm not asking you to run something like firestrike/timespy/superposition because that would be useless, but a benchmark like the GTA V benchmark is an extremely useful tool for troubleshooting performance issues.

I think I've found something you could use. It does take portability to the next level (probably overkill) but it really works.

    CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7GHz 8-Core
Difference between 1800x and 2700x is minimal. Might want to consider 18/1700x
Motherboard: [MSI - B450I GAMING PLUS AC Mini ITX AM4

    Memory: Team - T-Force DARK 16GB (1 x 16GB) DDR4-2666

    Storage: Samsung - 970 Evo 250GB M.2-2280

    Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB WINDFORCE OC 6G
Reuse May want a better GPU for
    Case: Silverstone - ML08B-H HTPC
Good Airflow handle  Vertical GPU mount (no window to see through)
Power Supply: Silverstone - 500W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular SFX
    Can't use the old PSU.
    Monitor: AOC - i2769Vm 27.0" 1920x1080 60Hz
only 60hz only 1080p if you are REALLY serious about editing photos/videos then get a really expensive (2x price) 1440p.
    Total: About CAD$1700 (Underbudget)

Something to note is that your old HDD won't fit in the case if it is 3.5". You could buy an external 3.5" drive bay but that may be annoying.

You want 100% GPU usage. That means that your GPU is doing all it can. If you have 100% CPU usage than GPU is being bottlenecked.
