  1. Currently with an amd athlon x4 880k, dad said I can have a computer with an i5-6400 in it. Is it worth using? How much better is the i5-6400?
  2. Very interesting! I might just go for a i7-7770 since it can boost to 4.2 ghz. How about b150 motherboards?
  3. Would I even use it to the full potential while gaming? Thats all I'm concerned about. I don't want to spend an extra 100 if its not going to matter for gaming (sice that'll be the most demanding thing I do with the system)
  4. Hey guys, I'm building a new system for gaming and was wondering if a gtx 1070 will pair well with an i5-7600k? I'm only going to be gaming so my question is: will the i5 be enough or should I ge the i7? I'll be gaming at 1080p 60 hz btw, Possibly 144 hz in the future.
  5. If you aren't willing to pay attention to my argument points then I have no business wasting any more time with you. Good day ma'am.

  7. Dealt with the same situation when I was getting into Motorsport while I was still living under my parents roof. Now I know racing cars is a whole different world from what you are trying to do but you have to look at it this way: They are your parents, and unfortunately you are under their roof and their care at the very moment in your life. That means you have to respect them, you are never going to get the situation you want if you rebel and act like you hate them. Not saying you are but that's what I did initially and it didn't work. You need to present your case in a mature manner and a respectable one that will allow them to think that you are ready for the responsibility of driving yourself and eventually others. It's possible the way you are portraying your desire to drive is in a fashion that gives them the impression that you are not ready for the responsibility. Cheers and good luck to you
  8. Thanks for clarifying my confusion with the refresh rates! Thanks guys!
  9. Hey guys, I play CSGO on my 60 hz refresh monitor at 1280x1024 with max settings and average 160-300+ fps depending on the map played (competitive btw). My question is, if I jump to a 144 hz refresh monitor, will my computer be able to handle my current settings and still output the same performance? Thanks for reading! My current build: AMD 880k FM2+ Quad Core GTX 950 16 gb ddr3
  10. Okay good to know I will be extremely careful, wish me luck!
  11. If I bend the pins back and try running it again, cant that potentially damage the motherboard?
  12. Quick question guys, I went back to put the old CPU in and noticed some bent pins, so that's out of the question. Is there any way I can flash my bios with a usb drive and the new processor?
  13. Thanks so much, I will give it a shot when I get more time! I can't believe I didn't think of that earlier.
