  2. 10 Billion coins, 4.5% premine do the math, it's not that complicated. I'm sure you will be getting that $1 per coin floor "guarantee" real soon, always assume what the dev says is pure bullshit, nothing ever goes like they plan. I have no idea whatsoever why Barnacules picked this shitcoin to promote.
  3. Haven't been on here for a while, good to see I'm not missing anything.
  4. That rig would do just fine and the Pentium isn't a problem.
  5. There is always money to be made somewhere. If trading Bitcoin isn't volatile interesting enough for you then there is always shitcoins altcoins. Nothing like the opportunity to lose make anywhere from 5-500% every day!!!! Check out https://bittrex.com/ for a great way to lose that extra Christmas money as fast as possible!! P.S. As a self proclaimed noob you WILL lose money trading if you do it for any amount of time, don't blame me when that inevitably happens and you fall for a scam.
  6. I'm sure there are people out there running some mining equipment "off the grid", but I really doubt that there are any major operations. Large mining operations take a massive amount of power and the initial cost to set everything up is way to high.
  7. Modern GPUs are pretty hard to kill, I have multiple GPUs that have been mining 24/7 for close to two years, haven't lost one yet.
  8. I would love to do a mini-ITX build with one of these. Build log incoming....
  9. If he's going to mine he needs to learn about it himself, no offense meant or anything but if he has to ask you he isn't up for it. If you thought for a second you could calculate profits by the year you were screwed from the start.
  10. For the LTT team, sure. For anyone else, not a chance.
  11. You seem to be confusing folding and mining. You can however fold for the CURECOIN team and get some coin, but it's not worth it IMHO.
  12. On the other hand, I have spare PSUs and this looks awfully tempting. http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/products/sp20-jackson-november-batch-2

    1Million PPD, Fuck Yeah!!

11 right now, I had been running 15-20
  14. Nope, the only reason I would pick one up now is to generate some extra heat for my house this winter. Bitcoin mining is pretty much dead for the home user. A large scale operation like the ASIC manufactures are running can always run at a lower cost then you or I ever could.
  15. Use a calculator that takes into account increasing difficulty, doesn't look so good then. https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/calculator
  16. I just bought this, it's going to go beside my Samsung 4K monitor that I bought at launch. These TN 4K monitors look way better then any 1080p IPS. I'll take on my desk over wishing for cheap IPS.
  17. The only screen saver I use is the one called "blank".
  18. Those are far worse then mining with GPUs. They could cost $.25 each and still be a bad deal.
  19. I've been using what I call the "lots and lots of GPUs" method. Everything runs at stock speeds and there is nothing crazy in there, but it all adds up pretty well.
  20. My 290s are making great folding cards atm. If I don't fold I get cold
  21. Mining is only getting bigger and more commercialized, so I'm gonna say no.
  22. Way to pull some random numbers out of your ass. The reality is this, mining with your integrated graphics will make you absolutely nothing and is a waste of time. That doesn't mean that mining or Bitcoin is in any way "dead".
