You know when your high school teachers told you that college/university would be serious business?

Well, one of my professors just send this to all the students attending his class:

    It's basically about legal disruptions and existential crisis' that are introduced by the development of advanced robotics and AI.

    i find it pretty interesting that computer science curricula has a required Ethics course to complete

    Well, I'm not doing computer science. I'm in law school.

    It's also not much of an ethics class. It's more focused on identifying risks and disruptions, and then coming up with solutions to those problems.

    Engineers in my school were more or less forced to take an ethics seminar. But it's for a good reason.
