I've spend less than a week in the US and I've already had to help stop shoplifter who was fighting the cashier over a bag of ground coffee.

GG America.

Coffee is super important. It's what fuels 'Murica

    Nashville, Tennessee.

We're on a two day stop here before going to New Orleans.

I live ~2.5 hours away from Nashville

depending on which part of the city you go to, it's either decent or "what the actual fuck"

Have you made your way to Opry Mills? That's a nice mall with a Dave and Busters in it.

Yeah, I noticed that. Our hotel is pretty much situated between those two parts.

Apperently I decided to go looking for breakfast in the wrong part of town.

It's pretty  like that in most major cities, though. There will always be parts of the city that's worse than other.

But I wouldn't have expected someone to borderline assult a cashier for a pound of coffee.

However, I will say the police responded really fast. We probably didn't withhold him for more than 5 min. before they came and took him away.

I have not made my way to Opry Mills, but we might actually end up doing that.

We were going to go to Graceland today, but honestly, I would much rather be the one who was taken by the police than going to Graceland.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion.

    Stay classy, major cities.

No problem. The mall itself isn't exactly spectacular but it's worth checking out. I've been there a few times and it's a decently nice but generally very packed mall, even moreso that it's the whole tax-free weekend.

We did end up going to Opry Mills, and while it was crowded it wasn't too bad.

American malls still amaze me to this day. They're a lot different from malls in my country.

    Again, thanks for the suggestion.

No problemo. Malls here are a bit of a weird thing, although I can't say that it's a bad thing.
