    No I have built computer with them (I had too against my will ) and later that year all of them had to be replaced.

    You can replace the whole controller board by finding a hard drive similar to the original one.

    From what I know the coverage is the same until you get up north like around Algonquin. As for the Data speeds about the same since they really run off of the same type of fiber from the towers. I know this because my dad put a lot of their servers in and the both Rogers and Bell use the same stuff.

    The only way that I know to get the data off is taking the HDD to a data recovery; where they take the drive apart and have to find the identical HDD and make a new HDD to get the data off.
