Summary Nudity that is considered "artistic" is now allowed on twitch, stating a revamp of it's guidelines. Creators can now show breasts, buttocks or pelvic region according to an announcement earlier today. Pornographic material is still banned site wide. The news comes after twitch received complaints from streamers. Artistic material can range from drawings to sculptures and body painting. Creators are required to label their streams, and users have to opt in to be able to view the content. A lot of content that was previously banned is now allowed, as long as it has the correct label. As part of the rule update, "twerking" and pole dancing is also allowed. Any creator that does not label their content correctly will receive a warning Quotes My thoughts There is no way this will not cause confusion as to what is classed as "art" and what is straight up pornagraphic, Twitch will slowly turn into a mostly adult content site. Whilst having freedom to express art is nice, there is no way streamers will not take advantage of this. It is a surprising twist considering the recent rumours around a disproportionate female streamers being banned. Summary Paul Hibbert, A well known youtuber in the smart home scene had his accounts hacked and his youtube channel turned into "Tesla" , despite having 2FA enabled. Quotes My thoughts Yet another Youtubers account hacked and made into a scammiong account (Fake Tesla). As mentioned in the linked video, Paul had 2FA enabled, and unfortunatley it, and youtube failed to protect him. The scammers used a well known upcoming video game and pretended to be a sponsor, unfotunatley Paul fell for their scam, opened a file that although he thought was a bit sus, and passed a virus check, beleived it to be genuine and clicked it. He has managed to gain his channel and account back, however has lost quite a few subscribers and ad revenue. Youtube really need to prevent this in the future, relying only on 2FA is not safe. Yeah, sorry forgot to put that in the post, it's from version 3.0, current release is 2.0

this is from there latest privacy policy which was updated AFTER they said they were not going to, lol.

Summary Audacity, a free audio recording software that is currently used by millions, has been call out as spyware in a recent report. It's new privacy policy changes, that were updated June 2nd, have revealed the software is collecting user data and sharing it with whoever they like, including sending the data to Russia. Muse purchased Audacity in May The list of data collected includes: Users country (based on IP address) Non-fatal error codes Users OS and version Processor in use edit: The changes will come into affect with Audacity 3.0 Quotes My thoughts This is why we can't have nice things, Luckily we have a decent community of people developing a fork of 2.0. Essentially that, they cut things, modern machines can cut everything from paper to vynl, and in some cases leather and even wood (to a point). They are used mainly by small businesses, but Cricut are targeted towards the everyday crafter. Their cutting machines allow you to cut things more precisely, allowing for better, more Intricate designs than using traditional crafting techniques. (I hope this explains it lol)
-
Summary Cricut recently announced changes to their policy, expecting users to pay $10 a month for unlimited uploads, Which cannot be stored locally. Free users will be limited to 20 uploads a month. A lot of projects use 5 or 6+ uploads, severely limiting the use of the machines for free users. Previously crafters only needed to pay for access to cricuts images and projects. Storing locally is not an option without also using their cloud storage. Some users are attempting legal action against cricut. In the hopes of forcing the company to reverse their decision, or at least allow local storage of designs, without uploading. Quotes My thoughts On the one hand, I feel disappointed by the company that was supposed to be "for crafters by crafters". They are essentially forcing most users to either pay the subscription or be extremely limited for an expensive machine. On the other, I understand servers are expensive to run. However they should allow users to store locally if they don't want/need the benefits of cloud storage. Six months into a three year contract Ibrahim Diallo access card stopped working, assuming it needed replacing, he was given access by security and assured a new one would be issued by his manager. However after arriving to work again the next day, he was escorted from his desk by security, and there was nothing he or his manager could do, he was fired and that is all they knew, A new system had tagged him as an ex employee after an old manager forgot to add his new contract to the new system. He eventually got his job "back" after 3 weeks, but has subsequently decided to find a new one.. Was about to suggest the same thing, you can choose to keep folders, files etc but will have to re-install all your programs/games

Have you tried a virus scan? If that doesn't work try a system restore to before you installed the program.
