4. Because your sons budget gaming rig had amd...? i have no idea GL to everyone 2 questions answered right and nice guess at question number 4 but no that is not the answer. He does have an AMD cpu in his gaming rig but that is not the special way AMD ties into my life.

Minibois a very nice attempt but you have two answers wrong and the answer to question number four is going to require some internet searching that involves my nick, LTT, AMD and other stuff to find it or you had to be a person that has heard me mention it in live chat on Twitch for The WAN Show. I think in recent days Xbox One owners were given a reason to want discs for games. This is good news. If we can get PhysX-like effects without having to be forced to buy Nvidia gpus, which are often more expensive, this is good for consumers. Save some money and buy AMD gpus for once in the future possibly and feel totally good about it? I like that idea.

EarthboundHero why are you crapping on ASRock? They are formerly of Asus and in recent years Asus has wanted to buy them back because they are making quality boards that are putting a dent in their sales I assume and they don't like it. They made a mistake giving up ASRock. With that all said I would definitely take ASRock over MSI.

OP you definitely have enough to run a GTX 970 or 980. Now as for that psu being reliable like I said in another post by you I can't comment as I could find no review on it.

I could not find a review on this exact psu and thus I can't make the recommendation that you overclock with this. It does not mean you can't and I did find one review of a Scythe Kamariki 4 psu that was of lower wattage but they could get much more out of it than it said it could put out. It also was what I would call an 80+ rated psu. However I also found a review of Scythe Kamariki 4 650 watt psu that really struggled to just meet the basic performance requirements of what the psu was intended to do. So good luck to you OP and if you overclock with that psu. Here is hoping it goes well for you.

Test the psu with a multimeter if you can. Also yes try a different power supply in the pc if you can do so.

Motherboard could be going to **** but make sure you test other pc parts properly. Testing the psu wth a multimeter is something you can do and if you won't do that then maybe borrow a psu from a friend, family or whoever and see if it makes things ok. Also something that came to mind and I need this confirmed by someone else but can't a CMOS battery die but you can replace it? Maybe the situation calls for that here.

Nice story. There is a reason why the Motor City is hardly the Motor City anymore. Also companies are all about profit. More and more they are offering people dead end jobs and eliminating jobs. Seriously if I want to boycott a company that I see is killing jobs I can. Also when there is not a need to automate and they do so and it kills jobs I can hate on that. Die commerce die.

So to make an already expensive card more expensive this is done. Will it cost over 9000?

Asus gave me reason to not buy their products. Way to go!
