hi, so current i.t student and an e.x film student so the software I use for the above tasks are visual studio code for prgoraming, really nice interface and super easy to work in. I use adobe premiere to edit in, it is not that scary it just takes time to learn, I recommend it to anyone that want to do any form of video work, I started out using vegas and found it was very limited, I remember when I started out it was not the easiest thing to work in, but good things take time to learn and premiere in my eyes is one of the best video editing software on the market, once you learn it you will find yourself trying new things in the adobe pipeline like using after effects audition and many other precise of software tldr: Visual studio code is the bomb, Adobe Premiere is not that scary and is the bomb.

Yes i would recommend getting the 3200Mhz ram, ryzen does benefit from faster ram more than intel chips do, and as Torben Lund and Oshino Shinobu said you don't need a 750w PSU, from experience i can recommend an fsp group PSU corsair are good, and maybe try getting a bigger SSD, I have a 120gb SSD and it is nowhere near big enough I have a 240gb on order, other than that good build

try a program called flux it changes the color temp throughout the day and is easy on your eyes, i would recommend when you do color work to turn it off, some monitors you can turn the brightness down so try that, otherwise flux and maybe look at some white leds to but behind your monitor, this can help i know it did with me.

hi there so recently my nas shutdown unexpectedly and when turning it back on it would not read my drives to i plugged them in to my pc and in computer management they are being shown as raw drives that i can not access and in linux is says it is a fat16 drive, i have tried getting into it using linux and recuva and icare and have had no luck just wondering if anyone has had this problem and knows how to fix it, the data on it is really important family photos and stuff so i would like to try everything i can do before i send it somewhere to get it fixed and before someone says you should of had it raided i did and they both failed or should of had it backed up to a cloud server i am doing that now Cheers

so i have a dell e6420 with a dual core i5 2520m and 8gb of ram over the past few months it has been lagging when watching youtube ect i thought at first my os was a bit bloated so i dual booted it with linux this helped for a little while and then it started to lag again so i completely reinstalled windows 10 still lagged i thought it was my hard drive so i bought a ssd and still lagging. tonight i installed windows 7 and it is still lagging my internet is fine and i have tried 2 different wireless connections and on a wired connection. i dont play games on my laptop i only use it for internet and word and some video editing every once in a while i have no clue why it is doing this the next step is i look at new laptops but i really don't want to have to do that Please help

so i just changed isp and the one i moved to does no allow static ip addresses for home users so i have to live with dynamic but i use remote desktop to remote in to my desktop from school but with the ip changing every restart and 24 hours so i was wondering if there is a program or something that i can use that is on my pc that pings something every 5 or so that gives me its ip address or any other ideas on how to do this would be very helpful (I have thought of using evolve and hamachi but i decided that is to much of a pain and my school blocks them) thanks
