  1. macOS Mojave drinks my battery like a man dehydrated for a day.

  2. There are so much stuffs not going well with each other here. First off, no Ryzen chips (or Intel, for that matter) today can support over 5000Mhz of RAM, so no, nothing can benefit from it. Secondly, the build is using a 5000Mhz RAM, an 8700K with a top of the line Z370 mobo, but a 1050Ti lol. Just not... right I guess Thirdly, the timings are so loose. Transfer rate does not like this.
  3. Almost every manufacturer today will have to get a very beefy cooler to sports the 1080Ti GPU anyway. My brother is using a ROG Strix 1080Ti and it never disappoints him
  4. Oh it works perfectly! Thank you so much man! Really appreciate your help today.
  5. I have one, and I already downloaded the installer. I will try it, the installer is called "Install macOS 10.14 Beta". Thank you very much!
  6. So I know there's a command to make a bootable USB for current version of OS X High Sierra, which is sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/MyVolume --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app But I can't find any command for the newly released OS X Mojave, and I realized that the command for different OS X versions has some similarities. So can anyone help me modified the command so it will work with Mojave? Appreciate any help! P/S: My drive is named "MyVolume" fyi
  7. That power supply is for servers only
  8. You can reduce it to an 8700 non-K variant, downgrade it to GTX 1070, and as you no longer have a K-SKUs, you can also downgrade your motherboard to a B360 board, such as the Gigabyte B360 Gaming 3
  9. You will need a higher frequency RAM to pair with it, tbh 2666mhz is kinda low for Ryzen builds, if you can go with at least 3200mhz that would be better. Also, can you squeeze in around $40-50 for an MSI Gaming Pro X470 motherboard, as I don't think this motherboard has got good power delivery for that 105W CPU.
  10. Just your requirement is not enough mate, we need your current setup info, your games that you wanted to play. For example if you want to play CSGO 1440p, a 1060 6GB is enough. But if you got a Pentium 4 that would be no use. You get the point @twisterfries

  12. Get Linus to buy some stuff on this website fast lol, the viewers wanna see! A Galaxy S8 for $104! Interesting to see for sure.
  13. Oh so a console. Alright just buy any 4K TV that you like and you can afford it that's all. Stay away from OLEDs, because of burn-in and burn wallet.
  14. OLEDs are notorious for burn-in problems. I wouldn't recommend playing games on an OLED TV. Pretty sure Linus made a video recently playing games on a 4K TV. You can check that out, or, just buy a freaking 4K monitor
  15. It's rated handling 65W chips, but I recalled when Linus use this cooler in the ASRock MiniDesk PC, he almost fried the 7700K and the 7700 is also very hot. Sooooo... yeah.
  16. They are all basically the same, it comes down to personal taste in looks.
  17. How about the EVGA 450 BT? That's just around CAD$60 on *cough cough* NCIX *cough cough* No sorry I mean Newegg.
  18. Judging from the image on the Dell website about the cooling of the tower, I personally don't think that will be adequate even for an 8700. That's essentially a laptop cooler in disguise tbh.
  19. Actually AMD does support CrossFire on B350 chipset, just not Nvidia's SLI. https://www.pcper.com/news/Motherboards/AMD-Supports-CrossFire-B350-and-X370-Chipsets-However-SLI-Limited-X370
  20. I have tried the recovery option, and it keeps saying that they couldn't find my Google account
  21. That combo should be more than enough for CS GO on a 60hz monitor, even at very high settings
