  1. My favorite is deffinatley the Autore Keyboard. Cherry MX Browns all the way! Plus it looks nice and sleek and doesn't have any ugly branding on it! Nice to see a company go for a sleek looking design on their products
  2. What you are seeing there is a form of artifacts. I used to have those on my R9 280X's with some crappy drivers. If you are using Beta drivers try downgrading to a Stable driver. If you are already using a stable driver try downgrading to an older stable driver. Worked for me, hope it works for u!
  3. Buying cheap PC parts and upgrading them 3x untill my PC was fit to my liking. Cost me way too much
  4. The main difference between the two is that the CONTROL has a rougher surface than the SPEED. If you are going to be playing games such as Battlefield, CSGO or COD I recommend the Speed. If however you need the slow movement control then get the CONTROL version. I have a Razer Vespula which has both and I find myself using the Speed a lot more than the Control side.
  5. I got a HP ProLiant ML350 Gen5 Server from someone that didn't use it anymore a while back. What I wanted to ask is if I could hotswap one of my drives with any other drive. What im trying to say is that I don't have a seperate HDD from HP for it. I have 2 In the server right now configured in RAID 1. As one of them is starting to fail I wanted to take the other one out and hot swap it with another drive (Not the same model) such as this one: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/hp-652564-b21-harddisk-25-10000rpm-300gb-server-festplatte-305341 If I hotswap it, will I have a problem with compatibility (Because it's a different drive not the ones I have in there right now)? And will I have to reboot or can I do this while the PC is running? Thanks a ton for the replies here are the specs: OS: Windows Server 2012 Enterprise x64 Bit Ram: 3GB DDR2 PC2-5200F Array Controller: Smart Array E200i (With 2x 146GB HDD's Running in RAID 1) CPU: Intel Xeon 5130 @ 2.00Ghz Let me know if you need more
  6. A while back I bought an r9 280x from Msi with the Twin Frozr cooler on it. I never originally wanted to liquid cool my build but now i have decided to do so and would like to include my GPU in the loop. If someone could suggest a waterblock for my GPU prefferably the cheapest one available that would be great. It would also be great if the block could be copper so it will fit with the rest of my set up. Thanks a bunch for the help!
  7. Spend a bit more (quite a bit more) and get a lot more! I use one sapphire toxic and look at the kh/s i can get! and the temps at 55% fan speed are pretty good too! My friend achieves about 300kh/s with a Gigabyte Windforce R9 270X and I spent a little more and get 720kh/s using an Sapphire Toxic R9 280X. Honestly just put a bit more money towards it and get one of those! Good luck in the future! Screenshot Link: http://snag.gy/5XVXX.jpg
  8. I honestly suggest the Sapphire toxic. It has sufficient cooling (I run fan speed at 55% and get 90C) and for the price it mines really well. I get about 720kh/s and make about 0.3LTC a day using one card. Its actually pretty good! Check the link for a screenshot of the settings etc. Hope you go for this one! Probbably the best bang for the buck! Screenshot Link: http://snag.gy/5XVXX.jpg
  9. I have found a Solution to this problem!!!! I am running Crossfire R9 280X's and dealt with major fps drop when enabling crossfire. However when I had it disabled (when I had the game running on one GPU) I would get almost always 60fps on ultra (with AA). After some research, in fact a lot of research I fixed this problem by disabling frame pacing and enabling fullscreen in game. I was running the game on borderless the whole time and this was the cause of my problem. What borderless and windowed do is they mess with your crossfire settings. It gives one GPU (in my case GPU 2) all the work but lets the other one spike up and down inconsistently. Mine would frequently drop to 30% load then back up to around 60% load (I checked the load using MSI afterburner and EVGA Precision X). If you don't understand what the last couple of sentences meant well.. then either you shouldn't have a gaming PC or I just really didn't explain well. Im just messing, Its ok to not understand. Just do as I said, Disable frame pacing and enable fullscreen under the video settings IN GAME! you should then be good to go. I went from 30-40 fps all the way up to 60-80fps on Ultra (with AA) I hope this worked for you!
  10. That's very good to hear actually because I was always worried that the slots being 8x were going to "Bottleneck" my gpu's performance, but good to hear that they barely affect it. When you talk about the drivers working better with one card rather than two is it possible to maybe find out about a driver that ran two cards better than one?
  11. Good to know this, I have always been worried about my MOBO only having 8x 8x when using xfire, Whats your take on why my Game seems to be running better using one GPU and not two? any ideas on why this could be happening
  12. My MOBO seems to switch to 8x,8x That might actually be why. As for the AA i turned it off as well and it doesn't seem to give me much of an FPS boost maybe 5-10fps but not much, it doesn't seem like that is affecting my in game FPS that much however as you said get on the latest beta driver, when I install them I get about 2FPS in game and 5FPS whilst loading the map which is clearly far worse than what the recommended driver runs at. Thanks for all the tips etc. I hope I can get this working some time soon because I bought these two cards to be able to play BF4 at ultra no probs and I was actually looking to do 3 screen Eyefinity with them but at this rate Im not even close to having enough performance to do something like this. Thank you for all the help and for the detailed answer and I hope that they do something about this because whats the point of having two cards when one runs better than both at once?
  13. No I have not actually, however I don't see how that would affect in game performance...
