It just comes with using high density sticks (Ryzen 1 in general only officially supports 2400 with dual rank modules like the ones you have), you likely need to increase the SoC voltage to 1v-1.05v and memory voltage to 1.35v.

TR2 is a bit better with memory.

i9 Im not sure about, but Intel is known for better memory controllers.  Not sure if that translates to better performance though.

    Re-seat CPU and re-seat memory.

If reseating doesnt work, drop the speed to 2133MHz with XMP (if it has one) turned off. That should stop instability caused by TR's weak memory controller.

There are some options folks use to test memory overclocks that should be far superior to the Windows option.  Karhu makes a paid version that I like quite a bit.  It isn't expensive and then you can Google free options with TM5 and memtest86 being popular versions.

Also, if you wanna find something called Ryzen Timing Checker (by the Stilt) and show us the settings that may help someone glean something useful that may help you.

I just got my rig all put back together after waiting for the new motherboard to show up and my RAM to come back from Corsair. Been running for three days now without a single hiccup. Loving this Asus board. While waiting for my replacement stuff to show up, I went and bought a Samsung 960 EVO 250GB NVMe drive. Works like a charm. Haven't had any issues yet.
