    what pisses me off is that there are so many carpetbagging pc builders around here that it is impossible to actually make money legitimately building systems for people. I've lost count of the number of times i've spent hours putting together a system for someone, custom from the ground up, just to have them run to one of these Assholes with a cheaper system that they promise will "do the job" for them thats probably over 4-5 years old and built from used parts with no warrantee whatsoever. i just can't compete with them.

    I agree, sync the RGB so it doesn't look like shit, That TridentZ ram deserves better treatment than that. I personally like that case but you should have gone black with it so the white wouldn't clash with the RGB hardline, black would accentuate it a lot better. or gunmetal. with that fullblock cooler that thing needs to be overclocked to hell and back, at least to see how far it can go. and i agree with everone else, the AntiRGB build would have been 10000% better if you had done it properly and not just fucked up perfectly good parts. if you were gonna have it painted at least go for Vantablack, or just chuck it into a black hole since you like wasting hardware so much (just to be sarcastic).

    I've 3d printed off a few of those sd card holders myself, less than $0.05 that way and i can make it however i want. really want some of those usb cables though, my wife is always breaking them and damaging ports. even the poor usb ports on her computer. only one of the 6 usb 3.0 ports works now. and i can't tell her that is why i don't want her touching my computer, instead i have to act like i don't want her to find my porn or read my emails...

    did you check compatibility with your socket type? did your cooler come with a backplate/mounting hardware?

    Why would anyone want a laptop that is too power hungry to carry around, and why would anyone want that much power with a screen that small? who is really the target consumer (other then people that do videos like this)?

    Cheap power supplies. i was young and stupid. Letting my brother borrow my Saitek Eclipse keyboard. now it's only help together by ducktape. Not getting into bitcoin when it was still possible to make profit with regular cpu mining. too late for me to get into it now.

    I've actually had to cancel my plans to build anything at this point, as i had to go to the ER earlier today due to a back injury flare-up, and i'm likely going to be fired. so i need to find a new job now while still in excruciating pain. It's been a bad 3 years for sure.

    think i might look on the AMD side of things as well, maybe find a decent Opteron or something.

    ah, no pcix16 is def a dealbreaker. i'll keep looking. as far as a case i could always just make something if need be.

    ok, i get what you mean. right now I'm eyeing a pair of Xeon X5650's for $35 on ebay. I also see a Xeon w3550 for $8.

    op-shops? i've looked on ebay, just not sure what to really go for. was really thinking about the server stuff since that would definately still be better than what i'm using now, but i don't really know where to start as far as mobos.
