To get a faster internet speed using OpenDNS, open Control Panel. Go to Network and Sharing Center. Here, click the name of the network connection, be it WiFi or Ethernet.
On the next window that pops, click Properties.
Click the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click on Properties.
Now click Use the following DNS server addresses radio button and enter the addresses given below to get a faster internet speed:
Preferred DNS server: 208.67.222.222
Alternate DNS server: 208.67.220.220
If you want, you can interchange these addresses. Click OK to save and continue.
