  1. You were referring to the boot after all the process, I get it now. Good idea.
  2. But the older OS is going to be installed over the new one.
  3. Hello, From system clone option, here the green highlighted partition is selected. Does that mean, it will erase that particular partition only, and then install OS? Will rest of the partitions & files in that disc remain intact?
  4. Hello, I have few Q's about cloning OS. The plan is to copy OS partition from HDD, without deleting the OS, and place it in the OS partition of an SSD. Both HDD and SSD are connected through SATA port on the board, while both of them have OS's installed on them, and the operating systems are listed at System properties> advanced> settings> default operating system, to change boot OS. Will it work in this condition Or does it have to attach the SSD via USB? After the clone, both of the drives will have the same OS, so will there be any complication while changing the 'default operating system' from system properties OS list?
  5. hELLO, Does a 10gb video file play on, and can 10gb file be transferred to a Fat32 hdd?
  6. That is what I fear Would have been better off with faulty components
  7. Hello, I have an external 1tb 3.5''HDD connected through usb 3.0 sata adapter that requires power adapter. Oddly, if ceiling fan is turned on, at whatever speed, the hdd loses connection and keeps restarting. This doesn't happen with the light. Don't have anything else to test with. It happens with different HDD (externally sata adapter) also. The desktop components are, i5 4570, Gigabyte Z87 HD3, 2 x 4gb ram, Gigabyte gtx 1050 ti windforce oc (required 4 pin power connector), 1tb WD 7200 rpm 3.5'' HDD internal and SSD 240 gb, Hyper 212 cooler, Case has 2 120mm led fan, non rgb, HP 21f monitor, Mouse and rgb keyboard, and Seasonic S12II 620w. Everything is plugged into a multi plug adapter, which is connected to the wall that has 220v. What is the probable reason for this to happen?
  8. So, I went to Update & security>recovery>advanced startup>troubleshoot>advanced option>command prompt It says error 50, DISM doesnt support online... something like this. The command line was exactly - DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:G:\Sources\Install.wim Tried DISM.exe without ' /online', returns error 84.
  9. Via list partition in the command prompt? Drive D doesn't have any windows installed, nor USB install media has D letter. How & why D could be the source? Here D is a command function? How do I list wim?
  10. I already have windows 10 installation media on USB, a different version or OS build than the current one using, but I get return msg, 'The source files could not be found' after scan. According to the link, in the Fix Windows 10 image recovery, the command line is the following - DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:D:\Sources\install.wim And instructed to replace 'D' with the corresponding ISO mount, so I changed it according to the USB drive letter. What did I miss?
  11. Hello, What is the command line for setting Windows Update as DISM.exe repair source? This? - DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source / WindowsUpdate
  12. Hi, Is this FXSAPIDebug file supposed to have account unknown user listed in the property?
