  2. Hey guys, I had the idea for this thread today, because I saw something I thought was rather funny while watching the WAN Show archive. I think Linus may have been channeling his inner Nicolas Cage yesterday during the broadcast. "NOT THE [bIES]!" So...yeah. I suck at writing thread posts. Oh well, post your entertaining screengrabs!
  3. Wow dat typo. Sorry, I upgraded from a single 780Ti that only had 3GB, and I forgot the 970s had 4.
  4. I'd give Acerpwns' rig...8/10. The only downsides I see are the lack of hyperthreading (i5), and a relatively small amount of storage for 2014 (nearly 2015 now. Holy crap this year went fast). Otherwise, nice rig! 5. They're beautiful cards. Zotac seems to have come into their own when it comes to designing cards.
  6. I've been a subscriber to the channel since I think three to four months after LTT was started, and I have seen EVERY LinusTechTips, TechQuickie ChannelSuperFun, AND LinusCatTips video that you guys have ever published. It's been an amazing uphill ride, watching the production quality of your videos grow exponentially, and I'm glad you've given us the privilege of watching Linus, Slick, and Edzel grow and learn as time has passed. Your team is my favorite technology channel on YouTube, and I hope whole-heartedly that your success continues for as long as you continue to work on this channel. My favorite video on LinusTechTips was probably your Maximus VI Formula review, because it's the board I have in my rig, and I was glad to see that someone else loved it as much as I did. Before I built my computer, everyone kept saying "get the Hero instead," but I'm extremely glad that I went with the Formula. Mainly because I've populated all ten rear USB ports and all twelve SATA ports. On TechQuickie, my favorite video was "Hyper Threading As Fast as Possible" because it helped me write a speech for my public speaking course. As for ChannelSuperFun, my favorite was the Stream Machines, because of the discovery that they could be used as fart machines as well. I thought that was pretty funny. On LinusCatTips, I thoroughly enjoyed your conversation with Rocket, because kitty.
  7. My favorite part of the Z2 would probably be the 4K camera, and my favorite thing from dbrand would be the skin I had for my iPhone 4s. It lasted as long as I've had the phone, which is better than I've ever gotten out of a phone. Unfortunately, my phone sort of fell into a lake, so...it's dead.

  9. I don't mind banner ads so much as I dislike video ads. I know it's scummy of me, and I accept that. However, I'll be happy to scroll through pages that have banner ads on them, but when I decide to watch a Linus video, I don't want sit through Video ad>Short intro>Ad integration, THEN video.
  10. I am also looking for this. I bought a Maximus VI Formula, and neither Sonic Radar or Perfect Voice are included on my driver DVD.
  11. I really, really like the aesthetics of the computer. Asus is amazing at making beautiful computers and parts.
  12. I actually had a few favorite parts, that I'll list in order of favorite-ness. 1. Rear-mounted control buttons. 2. Customizable home buttons 3. Customizable keyboard size 4. Dat sexy brushed-plastic, non-flimsy back 5. Non-vanilla, yet non-overdone Android As always, nice video.
  13. Would there be any other applications for the card other than PhysX if I wanted to keep it in my rig? Mining, maybe?
  14. Huh, okay. Well, I was planning to build a computer for my girlfriend, so I think I'll just do that.
