  • Biography
I like computers. I do many things, mostly all half-assed. I design websites, build server-backends, program utilities, edit videos, and do graphic effects.

I have a lot of ideas for different software/hardware and I generally want to someday make a product that makes life easier. I love the idea of "The internet of things", and I think the inter-connectivity of every-day items would help make the world a better and more intuitive place all around.

I love artificial intelligence, and I believe that AI has the potential to be more technologically advancing than anything else before it.

I program many different languages, and I'll list them from most to least skill; PHP, Java, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, bash, batch, python, ruby, and lua. I hate lua.

I spend most of my time trying to find something to do with my time. If you ever want to play some games, hit me up.

I love philosophy, especially when it relates to the human condition or AI, but I hate debating quite a bit.

I don't enjoy most holidays, I find them pointless, including Christmas.

I know Jade in real life. Aren't I cool.

  1. Dude, if that was possible, people would spoof steam links, google links, everything to make it look legit. However, if you own the site, you can have it redirect.
  2. https://neosmart.net/wiki/0xc000000e/did you try googling it?
  3. Holy shit, that's really good on the specs side.
  4. http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/49401-sticky-edges-multi-monitors-enable-disable.html Sadly, it's a shitty windows 8 feature that can't be modified without modifying the registry. I've done it myself, it fixes the issue, but not everybody wants to edit reg values.
  5. I just bought http://pips.rocks/ for a ShareX proxy.

  6. When I switched to https:// it worked.
  7. If there's going to be a shitty mod market place, at least do these few things. Make it "pay what you want", with a developer-set minimum amount, like $3, not fucking $30. Moderate it like crazy. There is nothing stopping me right now from taking some random mod off of Nexus, putting it on the store and making cash. This moderation needs to extend to the quality of the product too, so no more "HD horse dicks". Valve should get around 10%. All they are doing is making money off Bethesda, making money off of content creators. Bethesda should get something close to 25%, since it is their game and they're legally allowing people to profit off it. The mod MUST be guaranteed to work, and must be actively kept up to date, and must be compatible with other mods. 4a. The mod should NOT require another paid mod to make the mod work. It's like having to buy GTA4 to make GTA5 work. (The skyUI people are a great example of this sort of fuckery) 4b. If the mod cannot be updated, if the developer gives up or otherwise, the mod should become free. Why the hell should you pay for something that probably doesn't work, that the developer doesn't care about? LISTEN to what the community has to say. Valve just went fuck all with this, and as a result, people are boycotting Steam with GOG and NexusMM. Modding is what used to make the PC community so amazing. Look at the mods that have turned 10 year old games into awesomeness. Now, people are going to be forced to pirate mods, because they can't pay for them. Gabe Newell said "Our goal is to create greater service value than pirates, and this has been successful enough for us that piracy is basically a non-issue for our company." Boy, has that changed. I remember, the only reason I have so much time in most games, is because of mods. Mods made me keep going back to older games. Now, I can't afford it. Most people won't be able to afford it. Modding should be a passion. When I used to develop Minecraft mods (yes, I know, minecraft), I never dreamed making money; I didn't want to, not even ad-based revenue through adfly. For those who did want to make money from their work, there was services like adfly, but there was no paywall. If I wanted to download a mod, or watch a video, I didn't have to pay a fucking fine for it, I just had to sit through a few advertisements. To me, this is just a bad idea.
  8. I'm pretty sure you can turn those LEDs off if you get the MSi motherboard program for your mobo. I know I can turn them off on mine.
  9. Check to see if you meet the minimum required settings. If you do not, then you can't. If you do, then you can. Am I the only one who's getting really sick of these "can I run it?" stuff? Especially when there's several different sites that tell you if you can. [example] I know Rockstar forum moderators just started banning the "can I run it?" because there were so many of them and they're all pointless.
  10. I hope Rockstar allows users to host their own private, modded servers.
  11. I hope they add some more good games. Peggle is amazing.
  12. Aaaaaand that's why you don't let people who have no idea what they're doing, touch the most important part of making a computer function. RIP.
  13. So... your saying that your hard drive is full, but instead of cleaning it out, you're going to buy a new one instead? what is wrong with you?
