  1. I do believe so, my understanding is that the flash drive is just the install.
  2. for Microsoft, yes, you used to be able to walk into a store like best buy and any product by Microsoft used to have a flash drive in the box, now they are just license keys but they were flash drives in 2017. I would also be sketched out about a flash drive from ebay, if you do buy it i would recommend plugging it into a computer you don't necessarily care about first lol
  3. I was thinking more along the lines of something that I would be able to have a hub at the other end for my keyboard mouse headphones and usb drives, usb 1.1 isnt exactly ideal for that. that is why I was thinking about that kick starter.
  4. I would say go for it, Ebay always has a money back guarantee lol and the seller has good review.
  5. I would recommend calling them if you need this soon, or look for another retailer.
  6. I do belive dell is having an issue at the moment, I would recommend calling them or trying again later.
  7. My friend had a similar issue, reinstalling the game fixed his issue, but before you reinstall, here is a fix from reddit: "I get this issue everytime the game updates. I have found a fix, it seems to work but kinda annoying. Start the game like normal, check the cpu usage of vanguard. If it's high, force close it from the task manager, then in game click "quit" when it says connection error. Then just restart the game and it should be fine. Mine usually goes from 40% cpu to 4%"
  8. Would you be able to do what Tubby said and also your current hardware you have?
  9. Yes, it all seems like it should work flawlessly. If I answered your question, please mark it as complete that would really help me out! If while you are doing this you have questions please feel free to DM me.
  10. This is the pricing structure for SQL 2017. Please let me know which one is preferable and I can supply the link to buy it.
  11. Hello, I personally own a reference 6800xt and I can also confirm that the coil whine is *normal*. mine does the same thing and it is annoying but there really isn't a way to get rid of it. one thing that quieted mine down was a UPS with a pure sine wave generator to fix the shitty power coming into my house. it made it quiet but it didn't get rid of it completely.
  12. Hello, Microsoft sells them, What is the version you need? SQL 2019 or SQL 2021 preview? here is a preview link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/d/sql-server-2019-standard-edition/dg7gmgf0fkx9?activetab=pivot:overviewtab
  13. From a computer standpoint that will work, just as long as your Chromebook has a HDMI output and the motherboard fits inside of your keyboard. Do you plan on transferring the battery also?
  14. Hello all, I was thinking of moving my computer to my server rack, but this poses 2 issues, the one big one is remote display and the second is IO. In my walls I have one LC to LC fiber and 2 cat 6 a in my office under my desk. I was considering using this kick starter but I think it died. does anyone know of any similar products or solutions that would work? The kickstarter is exactly what I am looking for but they haven't had an update in 7 months. It seems like a simple concept that i am trying to do and possible from as far as I can see. Any insight into a solution is welcome! Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1456216766/optichub-usb-c-optic-fiber-hub-extender-up-to-300m Thanks P.S. I didn't know if this is the right sub-forum, if there is a better one, let me know and I will move it.
