  1. I'd go Asus or EVGA if they release anytime soon. I've always had EVGA for intel there are very good overclocks. The chip itself I don't think it will go to far but that maybe was just the cpu I worked with. So asus rog strix is nice and the maximus.
  2. Yeah AMD has sure improved finally saw a 10700k compared with AMD chips and the 3700x in all test were right up against only single digit fps drop in games which no one will notice, I know I won't. So that's seems like the way to go. Also saving over $100 that way instead of saving like $20. I'll decide for sure if you don't any input towards one or the other that I couldn't find.
  3. Thanks. That's what I use just last time I streamed had issues but fixed it now. I sure hope its not 14mn. I heard same time as comet next year for rocket lake. The only time they have a board that will support next gen cpu from intel. I hear and watch a few reviews that the 10900k is only 10% difference for certain applications against the amd 3900x. Which would be also be nice to have the 12 core/24 threads. Then Zen 3 could be quite different performance wise, then just kind of wasted my budget. You talking about ampere or current RTX? There is a 2070S XC ultra from EVGA (which is my go-to GPU brand) at my micro center open box for $520 seems nice.
  4. Is there a GPU you could recommended around my $500 USD? Just incase ampere is quite a leap from turing. When I do game, I stream. If that maters.
  5. USD $580 Games, programs: Single player/multiplayer games (Cyberpunk 2077 soon enough) Streaming, rendering/encoding videos/clips. My current build is in my signature. However this is for CPU and/or GPU. Worth getting anything upgraded now or wait for Ampere, rocket lake or make the AMD switch. Also motherboard not included in this budget. I have $350 set aside for that.
  6. I also have external mic and I know about the headphone jack. You just disconnect the extension and use the 3.5mm jack like I do. If it's still not want you wanting then I believe a decent stereo from blue, or AT their pretty good what I used of them.
  7. Try HyperX most comfortable I used to date. Other brands (to me) don't compare. For game and music I recommend Cloud Alphas has dual drivers and good bass as my cloud ll does.
  8. Mostly ASUS products of course. Aura sync things that are not brand related if usually hardware. You can always do a two part like say corsair and asus (I think there is an IQUE plugin for aura sync to work with them) or razer even if you like them. I do EVGA, HyperX and Razer So some around your price range; Keyboards: Asus TUF Gaming K5, corsair K55, K57 Mice: The asus mouse you mentioned (evolve) or ASUS ROG Gladius II even less but nicer IMO. Corsair nightsword and iron claw are pretty decently priced. The rest of the stuff I mentioned previously are good if they fit your budget.
  9. Well the mouse is using hyperX (NGENUITY) software to programmable RGB for games. The product page will say "aura sync" or not. I can find others if you wanting to do a complete aura sync compatible peripherals.
  10. Which part are you talking about?
  11. Keyboard: Logitech G213 for customizable lighting Mouse: HyperX Pulsefire Surge Headphones/set: HyperX cloud stinger, If you can't go a bit higher for cloud alpha or cloud ll Speakers: Creativelab Pebbles really really good and cheap about same price Monitor: The samsung seems great.
  12. I'd wait for 10th gen if sticking with intel. The i7 10700k will be cheaper and hyperthreading in all skews this time around.
  13. 9900k and 2080 super not much difference in 2080 super and 2080 Ti.
  14. Does sound really cool. Thanks for the information. Purchase has been made!
  15. Was looking at those, and fractal prisms. Are you using those through a lighting node? I was wondering if you have to use the controller "box" that comes with it or the controller my chassis already has will work. It's software controlled right?
