Grab a new media creation tool and reinstall fresh again. While installing don't connect to the internet until at desktop the run updates there should be quite a bit. I ran into a complete black screen last time I did this connected to the internet. This is how I install windows on all my systems I build.

Yeah? We know the power! lol. I believe you were the one who recommended them to me instead of going the "gaming" route. Still hard to believe what a game changer they are.

I can tell you, my friend has the exact same setup as you lol. I use my AE-9 wth my X2's and it powers them beutifully on the whole range. The X2HR's are just simply amazing.

    Couple things,

    1. 3600 is fine, however the 5600X is probably a better value.
    2. Could probably run 3200 on your RAM, the difference is negligible to a 3600.
    3. You will most certainly need more than a 500gb ssd, at least in my opinion. Think about picking up a 1TB or 2TB HDD.
    4. Wait on the GPU. Do not waste your money buying a card right now. A 3060 would be a very viable and effective price in the future here.
    5. Don't skimp on the power supply. Go with CORSAIR or SEASONIC.

Youll have to reinstall windows, just backup all of your important data to another hdd via another windows install or linux, then reinstall windows.

They come in different sizes. They're also quite affordable. If you can only fit the 3" versions in your space, it doesn't cost a whole lot more to add their subwoofer. I have the CR5BTs and honestly, I don't really need a sub. It has pretty good bass.
I had the V1s, and they definitely weren't bad for their size. You'd definitely get better sound out of something like the Mackies though.

Yes it can and all PSU using one that has an 80+, bronze, silver, gold, titanium, or platinum are always better then none.
I've been using a EVGA G3 1000w 80+ gold since June 2017 went I built my system and no issues. There is plenty of brands however with good quality. 650w should be perfectly fine. Gets the most "watts" you can within budget so that way if you actually needed more power you have it in the future if you upgrade your system and hardware so save you money there.

ChaosxLC reacted to Pixelfie in PSU help
This PSU isn't powerful enough for a 1660S. I'd say you should get atleast 500w. While the random brand isn't the problem, I still recommend going for better brands. If you cheap out on the PSU weird stuff can happen like random reboots & shutdowns. They will also die earlier than quality PSU's. Worst case, they will start smoking and kill all of your parts. Definitly go for something better like Corsair, EVGA or Be Quiet! (I recommend 80+ gold, but bronze should do the trick).

I have just ordered this headset so I can't say quite yet. I know some razer headset had the same problem.

For the mic on the razer ones I use a noise removal such as Nvidia broadcast. It's quite strong but it picks up very well only when speaking. Also can try adjust in the software in your case blue voice. If there are noise gate options. You'll have to play with to get exactly where your voice is. I have a very soft one myself so took me over an hour in OBS. Haha

Welcome to the variable refresh rate club. You may never leave.

I find that these settings in the Nvidia control panel work best in most games for a smooth experience with not too much added latency:

    Gsync: On (duh)
    Low Latency Mode: Ultra
Max frame rate: 160fps for 165Hz, 140FPS for 144Hz, etc. ( a few below your max refresh).
    Power Management Mode: Max Performance
    Vertical Sync: Fast

This isn't that bad of a build... But how do you plan on obtaining that 3070? Also the monitor you chose is 1080p and you are buying a card that is better than a 2080 Ti, therefor I think that you should go 1440p minimum as the prices aren't much higher anyways.

So I would go for the Gigabyte B460M Aorus Pro (No big difference), but if you want to get a 11th gen processor in the future, you should go for a Z490 chipset because they support 11th gen processors.

1080p, mate, 1080p. You'll be CPU limited with a 2080 as well. This is why CPU benchmarks are done at 1080p. And giving an overal figure is very inaccurate since CPU impact on gaming performance varies dramatically between titles.

And who buys a 3080 to game at 1080p? That does not make any sense. 1440p or 4k, that's what those cards are intented to run.

Bottleneck calculators aren't really that helpful.

In some games there will be almost none, in others, a huge bottleneck, and most others, it will depend on the specific conditions within that game and it will fluctuate as you play.

I would say you need to consider the majority of the games you play to see if they are sensitive to cpu limitations. If they are, then upgrading isn't a bad idea.

For example if you play a lot of MMO games, a cpu upgrade is a good choice.

If you play a bunch of doom eternal, then no.

It highly depends on the application and what not

As for op, is your CPU limiting you in any way?
If yes, then you decide if the upgrade is worth it
If not, then you won't see much difference from the upgrade

ChaosxLC reacted to JohanKjeldahl7 in 3900x worth upgrading to 5000 Series?
The 3900X may bottleneck the 3080 for about 10% of its performance. If you really want an absolute dream machine and you care about the 10% for your streaming and content creation - get a 5000 series. If you think that the 10% bottleneck are not worth spending an extra (how much is it? like 400- bucks?) for a new CPU - don't get it. I personally would not get it, because the better performance would not be worth the so much extra spending for me, but this is just my opinion. Hope that helps!
