  1. Have you tried out Classic Theme Restorer for Firefox? I installed it when they changed the design on the tabs, and instead of only text in the right click menu, there were the big ugly buttons. So I was able to change it back with that addon. You can change the tab location and a whole bunch of other stuff as well. All of this you can also change with regular CSS by editing userChrome.css, but I don't want to go too much off-topic here. Edit: I mean the userChrome.css file for Firefox, that can be found in %appdata%\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[your profile]\chrome. There should be two files in there, userChrome.css and userContent.css. You can read more about it here.
  2. While I'm not a big fan of photography and cameras, I'd still go for the camera in your situation. It'll last longer, and you don't have to run the latest games on the highest settings. Lower the shadow quality from Ultra to Very High/High/Medium, and maybe the Texture Quality from Ultra/Very High to High or even Medium. Lower AA from x16/x12/x8 to maybe x4 or x2, or turn it off completely. Whenever I play a new game, I always turn down AA to the lowest option possible, without turning it off completely because I neither care or see a huge difference between the different AA options. Also, look up guides for increasing performance in the games you want to play. A friend of mine has a computer almost identical to my computer, but he has a Radeon HD6950, so he usually end up tweaking .ini-files and a lot of other stuff to increase performance by even just a few frames per second. The highest settings in a game doesn't automatically mean the best gaming experience. When it comes to cameras and taking pictures of your family during holidays/vacations, or taking pictures of your dog or cat... Good quality pictures does make a difference. That dog or cat of yours won't live forever, same with your mom and dad, and memories can be forgotten. 20 years from now you might've forgotten all about that evening when you or your family did something really fun and crazy. Going back to look at the pictures 20 years later can bring back a lot of really good memories. Who knows, some of the pictures you might want to frame and hang on the wall. If the camera used is really bad at taking pictures without the flash, or in a dark room, the picture might not be as good. I'm sorry for kinda rambling a bit here, and I'm really tired so some of this might not even make sense, but I'd really go for the camera in your situation. I'm guessing the camera will be shared with your family, while you're the only one who'll have use for the GTX 780? Anyway, this is just my opinion. In the end, you have the final say in what you spend your own money on.
  3. My current internet. I'm paying 479 SEK per month (~$73) for 250/100mbit. And here's a bonus picture of Steam glitching out, no clue how it happened. Steam downloaded a couple updates while I was sleeping: http://i.imgur.com/Hx8KQ0j.png
  4. - The problem: About an hour ago I updated my drivers from 306.97 WHQL to 320.18 WHQL, and like every time before this, the same problem comes back. When I maximize a window it spans across all three monitors, which I don't want. So I go to Nvidia Control Panel > Desktop > Surround Displays and uncheck Maximize Windows Across All Displays. But it doesn't work. When I maximize a window it still spans across all three displays. - A bit of backstory: Back when the 310.70 drivers were released, I updated and when I noticed the already mentioned feature was broken, I simply thought "Well, it's not that big of a deal.", and downgraded to 306.97 again. Then I saw 310.90 drivers got released and I thought, "Oh, maybe they fixed it?". Nope, I got my hopes crushed. Since then I've tried every recommended driver release, and a couple beta releases as well but it's not working. I should mention that I always uninstall the drivers, reboot, run Driver Sweeper, then reboot again, THEN install the new drivers. I've tried Perform a clean installation without the previously mentioned steps and the results are the same. I've also tried the Express installation option, but without any success. Does anybody else have this problem? Is there a way to fix it? Do I have to sell my soul for it? - Specs: Win7 Ultimate 64-bit Intel i7 2600k (stock) Gigabyte GTX 590 (stock) Asus P8Z68 Deluxe 3x Dell U2412M (connected through DVI-D, if that matters)
  5. I'm kinda addicted to orange juice. And I'm talking about real orange juice. Like, you buy oranges, cut them in half and squeeze 'em or use one of these. I usually mix it with a bit of water, otherwise it doesn't last long at all. However, it is rather expensive in the long run, so I just drink water whenever I don't have any oranges at home.

My only complaint is the battery in your camera. Other than that I really like the video!
  7. Drinking in front of my computer. Drinking way too much. I had my computer on the floor back then, right next to the table. I accidentally knocked a full 1 liter (33~34 ounces) glass of vodka mixed with cola off the table, and pretty much all of it ended up in the fans on top of the computer, blastering everything around it with vodka and cola for a few seconds before the computer died. Everything in my old computer died except for my two hard drives. Too bad, that HD5850 was only a couple weeks old =/
  8. Take your pick: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RWA No, jokes aside. I changed nickname about four years ago, after I grew tired of my old ones and felt like I needed something new. However, finding a new nickname was hard, because I didn't want my name to look like something along the lines of "xXnameXx", or "name12345", and so on, so I started thinking about random letters that would look good and sound decent too. The rest is history.
  9. So, here's my experiences, that I can come to think of now: - After I've fixed a computer for a friend or relative, they always blame me for every future problem. - Two guys were talking in an MMORPG I used to play, and one of them said that he overclocked his hard drive and his computer is now more than twice as fast. - Whenever I tell someone that I like computers and technology, they always assume I just post stuff on Facebook and play Farmville all day long. - My mom freak out every time an email from someone she doesn't know, slips through the spam filter and end up in her inbox. Something worth mentioning is that she use hotmail, so she freaks out a lot. Edit: fixed the formatting.
