    The i9 and TR will not be as good at games because of there lower single core performance, I would recommend the i7 8700k

    the laptop will likely not boot with a different cpu in it.

    I am kinda an amd fanboy so i would say the ryzen 3 2200g would be a nice choice.

    Usually you can change it in the display section of windows setting or you if you have an nvida card you can go through t he nvida control panel.
