  1. Yeah, already checked everything. I sent it in as an RMA and waiting for it to arrive. I am just wondering if those benchmarks seem correct for my Specs (60 FPS very high - high settings on gta v)
  2. So I have an MSI Ghost Pro 002 with the following specs: 6700hq 970m 3GB 16GB DDR4 I am looking at 2 videos both benchmarking GTA V with my laptop. They both can run High - Very High Settings with MSAA x2 at a solid 60 FPS. I can't even run Medium at 60 FPS without it dropping to 30FPS with severe shuttering and overheating. Now here is my question. Do those benchmarks seem correct for my specs? 60FPS on high - very high settings on GTA V?
  3. Ok. I am trying to figure out what is with my laptop. I am watching benchmarks/gameplay of my exact laptop on games such as GTA V and they can run 60FPS fluently while on my laptop with the exact same settings mine keeps dropping from 60FPS down to 40 and it causes severe screen tearing. I have done a fresh install and everything.
  4. I am wondering if my laptop is starting to thermal throttle. Here are a couple of pictures. At a couple points during the test, my GPU dropped down to 165MHz Specs: Msi Ghost Pro GS60 6QE (6th Gen CPU) 6700hq 16 GB DDR4 970m 3GB Note that big drop on the left of the graphs is where I stopped the stress test and restarted it, but anything after the big gap such as those 2 second drops are actual results.
  5. You are not counting the giant drop to the left correct? That's where I restarted the bench. I currently don't have access to my main account because of Google Authentication. I am using my school Account. -Cmzplushardware
  6. Try using this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 The website will detect your OS and on the page there will be a "Update Now" Button. Or here is a direct download to the Update Assistant http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=799445 It will detect your OS and it should say "Update Now"
  7. School got hit with the evil google doc

  8. This may seem like an odd upgrade, but I think I have a legit reason to upgrade. I am now interested in editing videos/recording gameplay, but my CPU is always locked at 100% on games like GTA V which I believe is why I can't record gameplay without the video having severe shutter issues using Nvidia's Shadowplay and OBS. This is why I am wondering if getting an i7 with hyperthreading will help. I would like to record at 1080p/60fps. Also I am hoping on some games like watch dogs it will help me hit 60 fps at max settings. Here are my specs: 6600k @ 4.2GHz EVga 1070 16GB DDR4 Z170-a Asus Mobo Monitor: Asus VG248QE @ 144Hz
