  1. I'm looking for more information about AMD Raid 0 before I proceed with it. Story - I have two old Intel 520 SSDs that are very healthy, but their size is starting to be a pain in the ass, one holds OS and essential software for me, the other is atm out of the system. I'm thinking about merging them into Raid 0 (because it cost me nothing other than a bit of time and they don't hold critical data). I found information that AMD does not handle TRIM very well, and it may impact drives in a bad way, can someone expand on that topic. Also, I'm thinking about using Clonezilla to clone one drive into Raid 0, but there is very little topic about it. Thanks. I don't want to be a dickhead, but if your response is only 'buy new drive' don't hassle me.
  2. probably lose or corroded cable also it can be dead mainboard, and i think those sparking was caused with hdmi cable that went lose (screen have external speakers)
  3. Today my screen (asus pb258) started to show one vertical blue line (looks like red isnt showing) I need help with how to open this display and check if all connectors inside are fine. I probably will begin operation on patient this week. BTW i tried different cable, I pluged this display to old laptop with hdmi and vga and on both connectors I could see line so its not my pc or cables, also tried smashing it didnt help i stoped when screen started to 'sparking' and giving back strange noises - it still works.
  4. clean top and leave sides as they are now
  5. its not it if he dont boot at all, his GPU isnt picked up by mobo
  6. reset bios settings if it will not help update bios - i heard 'myths' that it can help but actually never experienced it. -i highly doubt that it will help
  7. i played it on gtx970 medium-high@1080p so your probably going to play at medium or medium-lows unless your going with 30fps, i never played goty so i cant comment about it.
  8. Check if your graphic card is correcly pluged in to your monitor (EDIT: do you plugged card to your monitor, not mobo? wink wink), check if you properly seated card in PCI-E slot, try different PCI-E slot if you have more than one and last one check card on friends computer. ah also once someone forgot to plug pci power cables to card - check that to.
  9. as i said i had heavly OC HBM that was fine in long stress tests but during gaming i had rare random crashes - black screens and return to desktop. It was then when i was told that HBM do not like temperature spikes. He recommended me to put same voltage on P6 and P7 but i just reverted to mild HBM OC. You shouldnt downclock your card, if crashes are not caused by different factors just return it.
  10. Try reseating your card. also check your card temperatures, HBM do not like high temperatures or temperature spikes. You can try removing side panel of your case or try some undervolting. Most of my crashes on my Vega64 was caused by HBM but never on stock settings.
  11. you can also try to change bios and check if it helps (switch is near frontplate) one of them is with higher power limit
  12. i suggest you to save 60$ and buy cheap RTX 2060. Best in this price range probably is Radeon 590 but cheaper 580 is much better pick because it have very good performance per dolar ratio. And 7$ Windows keys are not legal... do you guys love paying for pirates?
  13. Recommended PSU for Vega GPUs is 750w+ but 600w psu in most cases will be enough if your using quality PSU and not going to overclock
  14. As far as i know its luck. I know crazies that hot gluing coils in PSU but personaly i do not recommend it if your sane and value your life. You can make paper trumpet and make sure that its GPU that coil whines, if yes just RMA it.
