  1. I honestly don't think it is but I also cannot find an up to date memtest. I don't know where to look for it. I have run the Windows 10 memtest and I can never find a diagnostic report, only if it finds something wrong.
  2. I thought the same thing but man o man are they hard to find and also expensive.
  3. I currently have a 1080 Ti from Asus Founders Edition. It is incredibly hard where I live for some reason to find another one of the same exact type. I was wondering if it were possible to SLI two different cards as long as they are 1080 Ti's.
  4. Work for Gov, data mostly. Typed reports. I would like a 17 in screen. Docking station would be good too. But needs to be strong to handle a lot of data. So far only gaming laptops actually look good.
  5. Hello everyone, I'm starting a new job soon and need a work laptop. Only problem is I'm looking everywhere and its over 1,000$ for a damn laptop. I don't need anything crazy, strong enough to handle excel and other things. This is not for graphic design, its for data mostly. Strictly work. I'm searching but I was hoping maybe someone else on here might know something I don't.
  6. No it is not against the Geneva convention as long as it is used as it is intended. Such as non lethal lazers that we used in the Marine Corps. The Green Beam Dazzler was considered non-lethal but you could easily blind anyone with it. It was insanely powerful.
  7. One monitor is on for chat purposes. Several chat programs like whatsapp or viber. Then the other monitor is to keep an eye on teamspeak and other programs.
  8. I don't need them running at 144hz. Only the middle 2k monitor. I don't care what the other ones run at. But I would like them to still be usable. So that's why I don't know what to set those monitors to.
  9. Apologies. I must clarify to explain it better. I currently have this setup with Displayport into all 3 monitors. I current run all 3 on at the same time. I do not maintain 144hz minimum on all titles. I was wondering if there is a way to optimize settings or something to ensure that my 165hz monitors (which is already set to 165hz) can stay above at least 144hz/fps. Hopefully that was a better explanation.
  10. If you already have amazon prime, prime music does it just enough for me. Most recent songs come out on there for free but some do not. It is hit or miss on some genres but hey, it's included in your membership already.
  11. Greetings. I was trying to figure out what is the ideal settings to run my main gaming monitor at 165hz while the other two just run good enough. Main (middle) monitor :ASUS ROG SWIFT PG279Q Two side Monitors: ASUS VG248QE I want to be able to game at least a minimum of 144hz on the 2k monitor but sometimes that just doesn't work out right now. I was hoping someone can tell me how to increase my hz and frame rate. I have one singular 1080ti with the evga hybrid cooling kit so it always sits at 31c resting and underload around 45. Thanks ahead of time. Forgot to mention games that I play on my pc. Ubisoft games like Siege and Wildlands, Warframe. Surprisingly warframe runs beautifully clean and smooth on my pc over 160 fps almost all the time with everything set to ultra. Siege and Wildlands, not so much.
  12. Yes everything in my PC is SSD. 850 evo or pro.
  13. Shouldn't 1.2 be able to run 2560x1440 at 165hz? at least 144hz?
  14. I'm not home to double check nor do I think it has two inputs. I'm pretty sure it has a single input.
  15. I have a display port plugged into it. Anything else?
  16. I did but honestly I felt like it hurt my performance more than anything. I think I need to manually overclock in BIOS but idk how for my setup. I know minimal overclock.
  17. My Rig: CPU: Intel 7th Gen Intel Core Desktop Processor i7-7700K MB: ASUS ROG Maximus IX Hero LGA1151 DDR4 DP HDMI M.2 USB 3.1 ATX Motherboard PSU: Corsair AX1500i Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Intel X99 Platform Extreme Performance Memory Model F4-3000C15D-16GRK GPU: Asus 1080 Ti FE (Modified it with Hybrid Cooler from EVGA so it stays at 33C all times) Monitor: ASUS ROG SWIFT PG279Q 27" 2560x1440 IPS 165Hz 4ms G-SYNC Eye Care Gaming Monitor with DP and HDMI ports I just copied and pasted exact title of my items from my amazon so excuse the long names. Just wanted to be as specific as possible. MyProblem: No matter how hard I try I cannot get the 1080 Ti to give me AT LEAST 144 HZ/Frames constant on most games. There are some games it does but that doesn't apply to the games that matter such as fast paced FPS. So it kind of sucks having a 2k monitor at 165hz capable and I barely get 144hz on it. Am I missing something? Maybe there is a setup in BIOS that I haven't done? Over clock ram? Somehow overclock GPU? Really need some advice from someone that knows more than me. I'm able to do some minor overclocking but nothing major. Thanks in advance.
  18. Have you sat down on it for extended periods of time?
  19. Gonna be honest guys where I live that isn't much of an option. Not because I'm any place rural there just are not many office places near me
  20. No budget really if the chair is actually worth it.
  21. Greetings Everyone. I do not know if this is the proper area to post this so fi it isn't maybe admins can move me to proper category? Anyway, I am seeking a proper chair. I have had a horrible nightmare experience with the Lay Z Boy Trafford big and tall. Holy crap does my back hurt once the cushions leaves (2 months after) and there is a metal bar on the back that wreaks havoc on my shoulders. I understand that most people here might just say get a gaming chair, had one of those as well and it served me okay. I'm looking for something that is comfortable and can provide comfortable gaming/computer sessions of up to two hours or 3. I say that because not all sessions are gaming. So I'm 6'1 230lbs and having a real hard time determining any good chairs. So if there are those among you that have good experience or can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. Not just someone looking at the top 10 internet chairs lol. Real input. Thanks.
  22. I went with the NUC btw. Forgot to mention. it was a great fit for running my linux TS3 server.
  23. I'm looking for something like a nuc idk what pis is. Just something small inexpensive to run a teamspeak server from.
