I think you meant ARM PC running Windows, which wouldn't be a great idea as CSGO requires x86,x64 instruction sets which the ARM processor would have to somehow emulate leading to HORRIBLE performance. Also CS:GO is a CPU demanding game, worsening the chances of it working smoothly on an ARM processor.

I cannot find out any info on a Lenovo "0560" tablet but if its an Android tablet, however if it is an Android tablet, and if it is recent enough you can hard reboot it by holding down the power button for 10s. However your battery could have swollen and the heat could have damaged the display, so it might be toast.

Each phone has their pros and cons. The Pixel 4 boasts very close to stock Android, and gesture features, etc but at the same time has a very small capacity battery compared to 2020 standards and has a thick bezel. The Galaxy S10 has already been replaced by the Galaxy S20 series, which has a newer and faster chipset, etc. Also unless you urgently need a new phone, OnePlus is apparently going to launch the OnePlus 8 series next month. Also the OnePlus 7 Pro has already been replaced by the OnePlus 7T Pro which is going to be replaced by the OnePlus 8 series soon. I would strongly suggest staying away from the regular Pixel 4 if your priority is battery life as it has a very small battery (2,850mAh) whereas most phones including budget phones have atleast 4000mAh, if not 5000mAh batteries.The Pixel 4XL does have a bigger 3,700mAh battery, however both phones have thick top bezels to house the radar detector or whatever Google put in there.

You should take the laptop apart, clean up the dust, remove the old thermal paste from the CPU and GPU, and apply a fresh new layer of thermal paste as it improves temperatures significantly, especially if the thermal paste hasn't been changed out in the past as over time thermal paste dries up causing bad thermal conductivity between the processor and heatsink causing bad temps. I replaced the thermal paste on an old Acer Travelmate with a 1st gen i5, in which the thermal paste was never replaced. Upon replacing the thermal paste, temps dropped by 20 degrees celsius. 1333MHz is the limit of frequency of RAM it can run. You can put 1600MHz ram in it however the ram will downclock itself to 1333MHz as the CPU/chipset do not support RAM with frequencies over 1333MHz which would result in no increase in performance whatsover (beware some machines especially Macbooks will refuse to run RAM that is rated at a higher speed than supported and will not post) . According to the specifications of the processor, you can put upto 16 gigabytes of ram, however some chipsets and OEMs lock down the max. amount of RAM that can be put in the machine so you should refer to the service manual. But imo 8 GB of ram is perfectly fine unless you are Linus and want to open 6000 tabs of Chrome.

Sometimes Windows isn't accurate about the signal strength and speed. I had a similar issue with my wifi card where the Windows shows full strength and good speeds in properties, however the speeds were utter garbage. Turned out to be the antenna position which was causing the issue.

Thank you all for your replies and help, I did not end up doing too much apart from removing all the thermal paste from the edges of the CPU die. @TomvanWijnen was correct, the thermal paste being on the spots like resistors,etc that don't need the thermal paste doesn't cause any issues or make too difference. The laptop runs cooler now.

Check the date and time, if both are reset, then it is a faulty CMOS battery. If it is only XMP settings and not the date and time, it's because the system fails to post due to the RAM/CPU not being able to run at the higher clock, but then it should say "The system has POSTed in safe mode" and should ask you to enter setup upon turning on.

Generally motherboards use CR2032 or CR2025 batteries but could be different. You can identify the type of battery by looking at the model number on the old battery. According to Google, the battery used by the Maximus VIII hero is a CR2032, however I would advise you to double check.

You should reinstall Windows and your applications, as since you are significantly changing your hardware configuration leading to a conflict in chipset, graphics card, etc drivers causing crashes and just trouble which can be avoided by doing a clean install of Windows on the new SSD.

The stock Intel coolers are not great, however it shouldn't be causing the processor to heat upto 90+ degree celcius. Try replacing the thermal compound between the processor and the cooler as after a few years, it starts to dry up causing bad thermal conductivity, causing your CPU to overheat. Also I do not think an upgrade would be necessary if all you are doing is playing less games like Rocket League.

Hey guys, So I recently opened up my laptop, an Acer Travelmate 8472 due to high CPU temperatures reported by Open Hardware Monitor v0.91 and a few other issues. After opening up the laptop and taking off the CPU cooler, I realised the reason behind the high CPU temperatures, the WORST thermal compound application I have ever seen. It is probably the original application of thermal compound from when this laptop was built in 2011. Thermal paste has spread around the CPU dies.However the processor still works. ) I did end up cleaning up the thermal paste from the CPU dies, however since this is a laptop microprocessor and does not have a heatspreading over the dies, I fear removing the thermal paste around the dies using a screw driver could damage the traces on the processor or break the vital components of the processor, rendering it useless. Also I do not have Isopropyl alcohol to remove the thermal paste. Can someone please give me advice on how to clean this mess created by Acer?

I think you do need a CPU to get the fans to spin or etc.

How many beeps, I think in the datasheet for that board : https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/motherboards/server/sb/d38960006_s5000datasheet.pdf I think it somewhere in that sheet it talks about the beeps, etc.

Does the board have a speaker for error beeps? Is it a Intel board?

I suggest you download the installer from Windows Media Creation tool and create a bootable USB Flash drive directly via the tool or use Rufus. It would be much better than using a DVD as you will get the latest version of Windows 10 (1903) compared to probably an RTM build on the official USB drive and then having to update.

I suggest you get a Acer KG241QP (23.6inch 144hz 1ms) or a Acer KG251QP (I think its a 25 inch 144 1ms monitor) but both of these are TN panels and NOT VA panels. I just got my KG241QP and haven't used it too much but on paper it seems like a good choice.

So I recently just got my new monitor (Acer KG241QP) and whenever I plug in the HDMI cable fully into the port on my GPU, I hear a high pitch noise and the monitor says "No signal". However if I let the HDMI cable slightly loose on the port there is no high pitched noise and the display works fine. The high pitch noise upon further inspection appears to come from my computer and not from the monitor. However, with my old monitor (Dell SE198WFP) there was no such issue like this and the monitor runs at its 144Hz refresh rate. However when I connect the HDMI cable from this Acer monitor to a laptop, there is no such issue either. I've tried 4 different HDMI cables, and the issue still persists. I currently do not have a display port cable and will test it when I get one. I cannot test intergrated graphics as my current processor (AMD Ryzen 3 1200) does not have any intergrated graphics built in.

Get a stronger PSU,something like a Corsair CX550 or 650 should do. Though honestly if you are not in a rush to build and want the best bang for the buck Ryzen system then wait for 3rd gen Ryzen to come out as the Ryzen 5 3600 will have 8 cores/16 threads (same as current gen Ryzen 7) for the same price as the Ryzen 5 2600 currently is.

It should work as AMD's ram compatibility has dramatically improved since the launch of first generation Ryzen in 2017. You should be able to used any ram from any manufacturer as long as it is DDR4. And G-Skill Ripjaws has been know to work since Ryzen came out.

So hey guys,I recently bought a TP Link 881ND V2 to replace the wierd network stuff I had and after installing the card it didn't work because of drivers not being installed.I installed the driver and connected it to my WiFi and it works for 15-20 seconds and then stops working and sometimes comes back for another 20 secs then goes back to not working.If someone could help I would appreciate Thanks.

Any idea how to fix it

What are the actual specs of the PC.And also i will never recommend MSI products as they have more gaming branding then quality.
