Will this case bottleneck my build?

Yes, the poor airflow will likely cause thermal throttling

@Ryan_Vickers I'll remove the cork
@CUDAcores89 It can hold 2L of computer fluids so I guess it's not that good.. Don't think the oak would like that

If these port casks weren't $200+ I'd totally do an ITX build in it.
Cut some ventilation in to the bottom of the barrel under the stand for intake & PSU.
Have the motherboard sit roughly in the middle of the barrel on a stand with the PSU under itCut out the necessary slots for mobo I/O at the rear of the barrel with a 120mm fan at the top of the back piece for exhaust.
Wire a power switch up underneath the bung.
Probably work okay with a 2200G system so I wouldn't need a dGPU.

Essentially it would just be similar to Luke's Bomb build but in a cask instead of a bomb.
Unlike Luke's build. these days though you have the advantage of decent integrated graphics on processors and M.2 storage drives which will simplify the build substantially.
Unfortunately this isn't something that I would actually build, for the aforementioned cost of the barrel and the fact that I don't really need a new system... And the fact that my woodworking skills are the equivalent of a monkey with a saw
Would be a cool project to do though and would fit in nicely amongst my whisky collection. -

I'd fabricate a mesh cork for hot air to leave through convection, but only if needed.
Was thinking to hot glue a on/off switch in to the bung hole and have a shallow cork/rubber bung sit on top of it or have it hinged in place so you lift the bung then switch the system on that way.
Quotebest of luck if you actually decide to create it!
Thanks, but it's never going to happen. Even if I could get an old 5-10L barrel for free, it would be weird spending USD$500+ to buy an ITX Ryzen 2200G system when I already have a 6700k + 1080ti. If I built it I wouldn't have much use for it and would probably end up never using it.

@AlexTheGreatish If you guys are looking for ideas on a follow up to the "We built a PC inside of a"... Bomb, Boat, Plane, etc series of videos. Check above replies for a PC inside of a port barrel.
