One thing you may want to consider is if the outlet you are using is grounded. Some may have 3 prongs, but may not actually have a ground connection.

Honestly, in fps games, you may have to sacrifice some image quality for the frames you desire. Have to find a happy medium between the frames you want and the image quiality you can accept. A Titan X OC'd should be able to hang with a stock 1080/Vega 64. If you want more than that, then you'll be spending quite a bit, especially if you are throwing it in a loop.

Did you stress test it?

2080ti seems excessive, I crush 1440p on a vega 64, granted it's on a waterblock. Would only go 2080ti if I really wanted to crush 4k. Titan X Maxwell should run 1440p in a more than suitable range, especially with g synch.

Maybe so. Yet if you really look at it, you have PUBG Corp. paying fees to use Epic's Unreal Engine, yet now Epic is a direct competitor with Fortnite. When people complain about PUBG's optimization and lack of bug fixes, who do you think PUBG Corp. goes to for support when they need it. Epic maybe? If you are going to watercool and be happy, get more rad than that, and get better metal than that. Aluminum is an iffy choice. Copper, brass, or nickel plated copper would be much better. Aluminum has it's shortcomings, especially if you want to expand. Spend a bit more and buy once, rather than regretting and buy twice. It's like the saying in construction, measure twice and cut once.

This. SLI is a gamble either way, some games work with it, some don't. For 70 bucks though..maybe. I would rather have one solid high end card though and a 780 isn't what I would choose. Plus the working probability of the cards are in question.

Prime 95. If there is ANY chance of instability it will show. Run small FFT's. Keep the laptop plugged in at high performance power options. All other benches are just warm and cuddly fuzzy bunnies that make you think you are stable. If you can pass 1hour of Prime95, you will pass any other benchmark (Realbench, Aida64..etc.) Now that that is said, if you don't run any AVX workloads, you can try Prime95 ver. 26.6. If you do use 27.9 or later. Then when you think you are stable, run a good 12-24 hour test on Prime95. After that you can consider yourself stable. Just my opinion though. P95 can be harsh, but it will reveal the truth.

It'll be fine. PNY is not what it used to be, but over a 1060, it is worth it.
