Haha, for me it was Coffee Lake. Before I could search out deals for a gen or two older chip, get a killer deal and similar performance. But now? Now there's literally no reason to not buy an 8400 and an H or B series board when they're released. Simply can't find a better deal. Especially with what people are asking for their old hardware.

Yup that was one of the most profitable decisions they ever had though... doesn't sell to me though, locked i7's are the best alternative by a far mile... that is if you want to remain on Intel side of things.
