I agree! I think the viewers are invested and we all want LTT to succeed. Seeing how that's done is both interesting and informative. 

Actually I think that would make for an interesting video. Behind the scenes of a review where we get to see the entire workflow.

All of that can basically be answered by "it depends"
 
Sometimes we buy hardware, sometimes it's provided along with a big sponsorship cheque, and everywhere in between.
 
Generally we expect the manufacturer to pay shipping to us and back, if applicable.
 
As for shipping stuff.. there's a reason we have a dedicated warehouse/inventory guy (who also works on writing stuff from time to time) - Tyler. It's very time consuming.

I would've liked this but the lazy tubing and the apple logo really put me off .

I for one just can't wait to pay my hydro bill where up to 60% of the power I'm paying for was basically released into the ether because I felt that 99%+ efficiency achieved with an extension cord was for chumps.

Oh, and all that power that's lost?  It'll ultimately turn into heat and warm the room... So we need to run the air conditioner more!
