Anyone remember DFI ? Back in '08 i dreamed of owning this board. DFI with their Lanparty models had the sickest color schemes and features. Its a DFI Lanparty UT X58-T3eH8, Intel LGA1366 socket. Was around 270-300$ back then.

My 5800x@stock runs at idle with ~33°c (Outside temps 21°c) The temps do immediately jump up to 50 if you do anything. My CPU is being cooled by a Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black with both fans. That thing kicks out heat like a blaster.

Not even my 3080Ti has enough power to max out some games at max settings and 1440p with 144hz.

Try Furmark too. It really gets your GPU going. Are you using a riser cable by any chance ?

Anybody else not able to login to floatplane ? Keeps saying my password/username is wrong yet it was saved in chrome. I already changed it 3 times by now and it still tells me my info is wrong. Edit: i tried my email instead of username now and i was able to log in. Something has to be broken. Never used my email to log into floatplane.

If its a good PSU model (which you should check) 650w is fine. Im running my 3080Ti on a 750w BeQuiet Straight Power 11 (and thats more than enough).

At least youre not getting a Gigabyte PSU, lol. All in all i can recommend the 3080Ti Eagle. Ive got no coil whine whatsoever, the card runs cool and quiet (yet i changed the fan curve) there is a small LED on it but no super bright rainbow puke.

With DLSS on quality i do get around 70fps. I just wasnt sure if the performance is good. Most of the benchmarks dont clearly state if they benchmark with Raytracing on or not. So i thought with the 38-45fps i get there must be something wrong.

So i recently bought Cyberpunk 2077 even tough i knew about all its various problems. The game runs with just around 38-45fps on max+raytracing @2560*1440 without DLSS. All the benchmarks i found suggest that it should run with around 60fps, yet its not clear if they benchmarked with raytracing on or not. These are my settings. Also, i dont get this DLSS upscale thing. It runs super fine with DLSS on quality but it makes me think it looks worse somehow but is it even noticable ?

I recently upgraded to new pc. The first update broke my user account which i couldnt log into anymore. It always signed me into a temporrary account and there was no way to fix it. So i had to reinstall again. Straight up deactivated updates since then.
