  1. AMD Radeon VII recent buyers have to be pissed. Wowww
  2. Gotta MSI OptixMAG341CQ(Samsung VA 3440X1440 Panel) to replace my LG 34UM95! Freesync for my Red Devil Vega 64. Cant believe i waited this long for how smooth freesync is!
  3. Recently looked at picking up a vega 64, all had then at 599 was about to pull the trigger and looked today, why have they jumped up $200 seemingly overnight. From 599 to 799? Why?
  4. Amd is pretty much gonna Ryzen the GPU world. And finally bring competition back.
  5. Not as a gamer card. That's from AMD themselves, look at the slides.
  6. https://www.forbes.com/sites/jasonevangelho/2018/06/12/sources-amd-created-navi-for-sonys-playstation-5-vega-suffered/#4a2b2f0924fd https://www.tweaktown.com/articles/8643/ps5-powered-navi-2020-amd-making-sony-input/index.html https://www.fudzilla.com/news/graphics/46526-big-navi-20-is-2020-or-later There you go. All with the same info from some source.
  7. Vega was sacrificed for Navi. Why not put more resources into driver improvement of Vega, its gonna be last high end product for a while. Still stinks, we are dependent on Nvidia for new gpus.
  8. I can understand pulling some resources to insure the company Survives, but RTG road mad is getting dictated by console market. How long did we wait for Vega for it to be a dud?
  9. Article over at WCCFTECH outlines amd's new roadmoap. Highlighting its RTG priority of semicustom silicon(consoles) over PC gamer enthusiast parts. Due to margins and steady income streams. So literally Nvidia will have NO Competition for the foreseeable future. AMD has abandoned us for console glory..........(Also highlights RTG struggle with LIsa Su, and no having control over there own resources, speculation on Raja Koduri. https://wccftech.com/exclusive-amd-navi-gpu-roadmap-cost-zen/ Other sources of similar info" https://www.forbes.com/sites/jasonevangelho/2018/06/12/sources-amd-created-navi-for-sonys-playstation-5-vega-suffered/#4a2b2f0924fd https://www.fudzilla.com/news/graphics/46526-big-navi-20-is-2020-or-later https://www.tweaktown.com/articles/8643/ps5-powered-navi-2020-amd-making-sony-input/index.html
  10. Where are you guys getting these screen shots from. AMD is majority in top ten on newegg.
  11. AMD is very important on two fronts, that i think most people dont realize. They are the only thing preventing monopolies in consumer cpus and gpus. They fold up, we are all screwed. So intel and nvidia do have an interest in the survivial of AMD, so i will always root for their survival, but this vega launch is a debacle. Year too late, still using over hyped/expensive memory, and under performing year old competition.
  12. That is being purposely deceptive. Skewing reviews from the press as well. So retailers where actually rebated to get the $499 price. That means money would be lost on every sold unit otherwise. So definitely no 499 price.
  13. Vega 56 no, decent value. Vega 64 maybe. Drivers still have a way to go. But this rumored price hike is concerning.
  14. NO compelling competition from AMD, NO need. Just like intel pre Ryzen.
