  1. Nvm was the ram. That ram is somehow not working now? Mine posted and now his isnt
  2. My new founders edition RTX 2070 Super came in today, I installed it and turned on my pc. The lights and fans of it turned on, but I can’t get any signal to my monitors. Tried switching the ports around, not working either. I have one display port to dvi going in to an old monitor, and one hdmi going directly into my main monitor. I also tried switching around my PCI-E power cables, that didnt work either. The only thing I can currently think of that might be the problem is my ram. I switched it with my brother. Dumb reason, but he wanted mine bc it fit better with the looks of his setup. Same ddr4 brand and model (t-force delta) different speeds (mine was 3000, his was 2600). I didnt realize this until I installed them and found this problem. Could this be the problem, or something else. Thanks in advance, if you have any more questions on the situation, please ask!
  3. Thanks, that's all I needed! Also yeah I expected it to be about the same, just wanted to make sure I wasn't horribly wrong.
  4. As a 17 year old kid with no current job, I got roughly $535 and have wanted to upgrade away from my 1050 ti for some time now. Been looking at a 2070 for a while now, and the founders edition has been at $499 for a while, by far the cheapest of them all. It looks good, but is there any significant performance differences compared to the other models? I'm not sure it really matters, as most of the other cards are purely for looks and an occasional tiny clock speed increase. Please don't tell me to buy a different card or and AMD card, I'm only looking at 2070 supers atm. Thanks in advance!
  5. This is the build I was looking at for him, nothing is quite official especially because of the fluctuating pc prices rn, and the psu is yet to be determined.
  6. Well the main reason I wanted to use a nvidia gpu for his build was because of it's NVENC which I absolutely adore, unless AMD Gpus have those too, I have VERY little experience around amd gpus.
  7. I recommended him a Ryzen 5 2600 or a 2600X
  8. What about streaming? My friend wants to stream and I know that the nvidia cards are great for that, I have a 1050 ti and plan on upgrading very soon as well.
  9. I'm currently building a new pc for a friend and was wondering whether a 2070 Super has the performance to be worth another $100 compared to the non-super 2070. Thanks!
  10. Thats a good idea, thank you!
  11. The 1 TB HDD of my current pc, which I have had for 2 years now, is completely full. I want more space and have roughly $100 dollars to drop on it. Im also a content creator, and record high space files often, I currently have not many clips on my pc right now, but plan to have more. Should I go for a 5TB HDD or a 250 GB SSD
  12. Yeah, but ddr4 ram is like $200 currently and I couldnt tolerate 8gbs of ram.
  13. So, Ive been thinking for over 5 months about upgrading my cpu, I currently have an FX 4350, which bottlenecks the HELL out of my 1050 ti. I have been able to tolerate it for about year but want something better. I am not willing to buy ddr4 ram at the time due to the ridiculous prices. I know it is very old, but I want to get an fx 8370. This way, I only have to buy the processor, everything else is compatable. I’m 15 and without a job so I have around $350. I plan on spending most of the money on other things. Any advice? I want to use my pc for gaming, editing, and maybe a little live streaming.
