i have a huge pc upgrade coming. i was casually talking with a friend, and he was like yeah i have an old motherboard laying around i no longer use, do you want it. so i asked what board it was, and he said it's an Asus Z370-P. i got it from him for €20

i looked online and bought a used i3 8100 for €80, which is plenty for what i want to do, and the board has a good upgrade path since it also has 9th gen support.

today was a good day.
