  1. If I get a 3+1 (or the 4) could always mount like this: using the http://www.wsgf.org/products/freedom-quad-desk-stand U2414H U2414H VG248QE U2414H
  2. The VG monitor is 144Hz, the others are 60. I play on the 144Hz monitor because I do a lot of FPS. I watch movies/browse/desktop/OBS setup on the other ones.
  3. So as some of you may know I have 4 monitors. My desk is getting cluttered T^T so I need a good triple monitor mount. I have 3 x U2414H and 1 VG248QE. My monitor layout is the following (from left -> right): U2414H -> U2414H -> VG248QE -> U2414H. The VG248QE is the "middle"/main monitor. I use this for most single screen gaming (FPS etc). So what best bang for the buck triple monitor mount do you guys recommend for 3 x 24 inch monitors? Thanks.
  4. We found the impact crater (Chicxulub crater) or at least what we suspect is the impact crater off the coast of the Mexican peninsula. http://cdn.phys.org/newman/gfx/news/2013/mappingthede.jpg
  5. I'm aware, it's also more expensive @ $699.99 vs the X series which is $448.48+ depending where I get it shipped from Japan.
  6. I've also been considering a pair of ATH-W1000X headphones. Thoughts? At the moment its a toss up between Mad Dog, ATHW1000X, and Shure 1540.
  7. So you think they are overpriced too huh? I had a feeling, but head-fi recommended them so I at least considered them. As tot he P7, yeah looks nice, but I wear glasses and I think the extra weight might create hotspots. As to the Shure 1540's I'm on the fence, would be great to be able to demo them, but sadly there are like no high end audio stores near me to do so.
  8. So you wouldn't recommend any of the headphones you have? Most of them are $400 or less or over $400, so your last statement kind of puzzles me. Do you not think your headphones are good?
  9. How fast the driver reacts to input (how fast the driver comes to rest after signal stop). Which is why certain headphones are better at some genres than others. Fast tends to sound sharper and more revealing of minute details in the signal, and slow sounds muddy and longer decay. At least this is how I would define it. It's kind of a loose term to be honest.
  10. I have my other cans for the classical. I mainly listen to EDM (examples in 1st post), so that's what these cans are for.
  11. The Mad Dog Pro and Alpha Dogs are modded T50RP platform by Mr. Speaker, which is what I am looking at getting. I've heard mixed reviews on hte SRH1540 for EDM, and I've also heard that the Denon D2K are not "fast" enough to really do EDM well.
  12. I forgot to update, no open back headphones. My computer/mini fridge/ceiling fan/ac unit are a bit noisy .
  13. I've been looking into the Mad Dog Pro and Alpha Dog headphones made by Mr Speakers as well as a few others. I plan on getting a Magni 2 & Modi 2 stack from Schiit as well. My updated budget is $400-600 USD. Haven't found a pair of headphones I like yet. So I'm bumping this. EDIT: I forgot to mention, no open backed designs as my room is a bit noisy from the mini fridge, computer, ceiling fan etc.
  14. The 780 TI is faster than the 970, so I don't know why I would go backwards in power and get SLI 970s. Also I don't OC my GPU's, I've always had really bad luck in the past.
